That's just how life works man. Most people don't kick skaters out because they want to be a dick. They do it because if you get injured on their property it's their liability. People are looking for free money so when they go and break and break an arm on someone's property they can sue the owner. It's sad that that's a thing but it is. It's crazy you guys don't understand that unfortunately that's how the world works. I've skated for 20 years and I'm not just going to let someone I don't know skate my mini ramp or rails in my back yard. (Or at least not without signing a waiver that my lawyer has proof read clearing me of responsibility.) Us skateboarders are not repressed, we just live in a crazy world where people will try to take advantage of you. Although I do agree that guy seemed like a huge douchebag taking credit for the wheels lol.

Considering basically every team has at least one rider sponsored by bones I don't think that would really be that big of a deal. Also I doubt spitfire or oj or those trash merchants at ricta would want their guys skating the "bones hubba" and I doubt bones would want anyone skating their hubba with another companies wheels.

I would love to have some of those uncut wheels

Bones would definitely be second for me with spitfires first and Autobahns third

Insulators prevent heat flow/loss so the ground would be the exact opposite of an insulator in this case.

With such an uneducated executive, I doubt Bones Wheels will be in business more than another few years. I would guess they are currently operating in the red. Besides, some large entity-such as private equity firm-will likely build a fully automated (robotic) manufacturing plant which will undercut companies such as Bones Wheels which is obviously using archaic manufacturing equipment.

Great companies do not normally employ great engineers and foolish marketing executives.Usually you see three guys "landing sick tricks" on their boards while a fourth guy, who is clearly one of their peers who is a member of their group watches on, its usually safe to assume his skateboarding skill is comparable to theirs. In other words, "Birds of a feather flock together." Furthermore, your comment belies a misunderstanding of the current economic environment. Since the Reagan Revolution and one of its cornerstones, a return to laissez faire economic policies, large powerful businesses have been either purchasing small businesses or putting them out of business through a variety of practices that clearly violate US anti-trust law (competition law as it is typically referred to in English-speaking countries outside of the USA). For more, see Mark Twain's "Gilded Age." The skateboard culture I've read about on KZread clearly celebrates a low level of paganism reminiscent of the "sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll" mantra of the counter-culture movement ("hippie movement") of the late 1960's and early 1970's.

2:17 "The ground acts as natural insulator so it pulls the heat from the wheels" 2 things: The ground acts as a conductor not an insulator, brush up on your thermodynamics ;). A concrete floor is not natural, the term you was looking for there is passive.

That tray of multicolored 100's is quite pretty, love the way new wheels look. Just got some 55mm 100's yesterday and they ride great.

Very true!! I've have had 3 pairs of spits before and they all flatspoted terribly!! I even had a flat spot from doing just powerslides. Bones remained in shape for me until they downsized from the size I get them.

What you should care about is how George Powell and Bones wheels broke so much new ground in wheel fromulas..design..and innovation. The wheels you all ride werent always like they are now. Big thank you to Powell for coming up with urethane formulas no one else was even thinking about...and these formulas are basically what you all ride to this very day.
