Reborn In India you keep ordering this masala dosa today we went to the Indian restaurant and tried omg it was superb this is amazing the manager said it's made from rice flour healthirrbthan wheat flour I be eating a lot of these in the future it cost 5 us $ for a dosa what's the cost in India

That was just amazing. I live near Aleppey, and what u did was the best way to know the life of backwater, that ferry is like 10rs. For a 4 hour ride. Its Amazing how you find the best in each place.

+Reborn In India Please don't travel after 8PM in kerala because after that tuk tuk drivers will demand more money for a normal ride and buses will be less. Kerala is mainly 8AM -8PM state except kochi

yeah you can travel from Athirapilly in thrissur to valpara in tamil nadu through the forest. that is an awesome route. it's open during the day. Another suggestion is you could go to Vagamon from Kottayam. In vagamon skip the touristy places and go to places like ulupunni, thangalpara, or just climp up few hills :)

Most of the places in kerala there is no bus service after 9'o clock.. in some villages bus service will stop even before that.. so keep it in mind.

Wow... Super video... Do travel like this... In kerala... Like locals... Tht will be interesting... Beautiful thing about kerala is tht... U will never felt isolated... Population density is almost uniform through out the state... And u will meet educated people everywhere... So its safe ... Hope u liked the bus ride... Fr me i liked the bus ride more thn boat ride... Theres a saying in kerala... Tht no other thing can give the feel of a window seat ksrtc bus ride through places in kerala...

Such miscreants won't differentiate between a foreign lady or a native. So as a norm it's not good to roam around Kerala districts after 8PM .Because keralites lack night life. Enjoy kerala between 8Am -8Pm and plan train travel during nights

The 100to 80Rs might have worked elsewhere in India, but in some areas of India thr drivers work together and fix the prices . You have been in Dehradun and might know the ridiculous high prices . But you have the vikram service there, so you can get everywhere for no money. The rikshaw-drivers would have much more money if the prices where not so high but they don't understand. From the Dehradun busstand out to Rajpur - road 300-350 Rs by Tuc-tuc , less than 20Rs by bus or vikram. Bus and vikram is an adventure, who needs a tuc-tuc. I forgot: Tnks for info. very useful for my wintertrip!

The US-people at the end of the Rajpur-road NEVER took a bus or vikram because its "not safe". So they told me. I loved the bus rides and the shouting of the conductor "Rajpur, Rajpur, Rajpur" during the whole ride. And you can jump on and off the bus wherever you want. Try this in Germany. Some call it anarchy, I call it freedom!
