I first heard of Allen Stone on last year's American Idol. He was a mentor and performed this song... i was floored by his amazing tone and control. Once I paid attention to the lyrics of this song, i was even more blown away. Became an instant fan!

My nephew turned me on to Allen Stone about 10 years ago. He sent me the link in a text. Thr first two notes and I was ALL IN!!! About 6 years later I got to see him live at a street concert here in Boise. We have a great love for Jazz in our area - home of the amazing Gene Harris RIP. This man's music cleanses my soul!!!! So much soul dripping from his voice.

Hi Brother, Allen Stone was a college student, playing the club scene, when he went full-time into his career. He's a life long singer/guitarist and was one of the first to become known thru the internet. He had released a Great self titled album in 2012 that had three songs on it that really broke through, Unaware, Sleep, and CELEBRATE TONIGHT, which was the biggest hit on the record. Daryl Hall (Hall and Oates) had a very popular live music show on cable television called Live From Daryl's House, featuring legendary artists (Joe Walsh, Smokey Robinson, Temptations, Sammy Hagar, etc) and a lot of new artists, who came to Daryl's house/studio, rehearsal space and they would have the greatest jam sessions of all time, with Daryl's touring and recording band! So, Allen Stone was asked to appear on the show and the chemistry between the two of them made for one of the highest rated shows ever, and Allen was asked back again, and his career has taken off since then. His first self-titled album, with Unaware and CELEBRATE TONIGHT continues to be the best selling record and I really think that you would enjoy every track! I hope that you have found this to be helpful to you! I really enjoy your work.. Lary

Allen Stone is easily one of the most talented singer/songwriters of this generation! Unfortunately he is overlooked and unappreciated for his pure, raw talent.

Ty I knew you would dig this song 😊😊 I saw him a couple years ago in an interview on a show (cannot remember which one..lol) He was talking about he is a son of a preacher and how he started out singing in church, he did not find soul music until he was older and how much it called to him. I had not heard him in a long time and I had my Maxwell channel playing and Allen's song was one of the songs that played,I was hooked with the first verse. He sure has a lot of Soul for sure. you know how I love my DeAngelo 😍😍I still own the ''Brown Sugar'' CD even though I have it downloaded in my playlist..lololol

I like that you do reactions to songs off the beaten path. Most people react to the songs that get the most likes in their comments. I saw Allen Stone live twice last year. He has an absolutely amazing voice.

You seem like a cool dude whos constantly working to improve himself and his community. I greatly appreciate that. However, I would really like to see you learn the counter arguments to apologetics. You seem smart enough to see through the fallacious arguments of apologetics, so I'm assuming no ones really taken the time to discuss it in depth with you... Cosmic Skeptic, Rationality Rules, and Matt Dillahunty are all good sources for the proper counter arguments. I did however list them in order of most to least patient. If you somehow do a video chat debate with Matt, he is liable to get grumpy if he has to repeat himself too many times, but to be fair he has been repeating himself for 20ish years now. P.S. Im glad you dig Allen!

Your reactions are good, but honestly... just replace that intro with a title card. It's good you have those skills, but prove them in your subject matter videos with specialized content, not in an intro which can't go into depth. Pitch your other content at the END of your video, with references to specific videos. Just my opinion, but I bet you'll find if you do it your videos flow better.
