As a millennial in their early to mid twenties, I cannot express how frustrating it is to know that genuinely great music like this doesn’t get the recognition in mainstream radio and media. If only the younger generations had more exposure to upbeat, wonderful music like this.

All the while, there are tons of people saying "there's no good music anymore." Not only are they tremendously wrong, it's many of these new, young ones creating these soundscapes for us.

Of all places, I was in Ross, waiting while my wife shopped and I heard this over the store speakers. All the years at Ross and this is the best thing I ever walked out the store with.

I sometimes feel unsatisfied with other music after listening to allen. This shit is so good, hes always right in the pocket, his tone is butter, songwriting is conscious and uplifting. That beginning was explosive!

When I first heard this song I was 19 and aching for love, even with my faith in God. I used to imagine a woman with brown eyes who I could love while I would play this jam on repeat on the way to work, coming home from work and running errands. I remember driving home from a dinner night out 2 years later, listening to this song and just 3 months after, I meet the love of my life. She has brown eyes, blonde hair, lives on the other side of town, and soon enough she was waiting for me to pick her up to go on dates. Now I'm 21 and in a strong relationship with her, we talk about healthy boundaries together and next steps in our relationship so that we can have a happy marriage in the next coming years. God is great! and so is this song! Me and her sing it together all the time now!
