I have listened to music for 67 years. Pretty general statement. My point is that perfection is virtually impossible during a live performance, however, Teddy Swims and this band were spot on. Used to listen to this amazing singer when he was still working in a fast food takeaway and posting on Facebook. It's so great to have witnessed his emergence to a world wide audience.

His label did him dirty washing out his natural grit and tone for the radio. I think I would melt and not be able to function if I ever saw this TRUE artist live. He sounds so much better live than on the radio. Raw Talent

Teddy tends to sound better live than his recorded. His rough vocal is so real. Recorded, it's been polished which looses the grit. He's amazing. His success is well deserved and I hope it continues

Went to Nashville on a whim and decided to go to Ryman. I had no idea who Teddy Swims was but it did not matter. I was there for the Ryman. Teddy and his band were amazing and I feel so lucky to have been in the audience that night. Praying that full length concert footage is to follow. God bless the Mother Church of Country Teddy.

The music and film industry is super-corrupt, especially for new artists who may not have trustworthy people to rely on.

The second night was even better! The audience was fired up including his sweet mama. We were second row front center behind her. He was absolutely amazing!

Oh man I miss guitar solos. This one was great. Teddy's voice jumped out of my radio and punched me in the ear. Absolutely fantastic, instant classic .A liitle Sam Cooke influence. Outstanding.

I think the beautiful vocals that Teddy and the guitar (Jessie) is magic from a garage to the Ryman. Ya'll deserve it.

When you combine the gifts and talents of each and every one of these artists, it easily surpasses anything I've ever heard. It quite literally transcends anything I've EVER heard. The passion, the tones, the angst of it all. Probably, and quite possibly, the most AMAZING thing I've heard in AT LEAST the last 30 years.

I seriously need him to record this with Kelly Clarkson.... When he was on her show and they did this as a duet, it was simply magical and sounded amazing. Teddy has a great voice on his own, but when you add Kelly's backing vocals it just kinda makes this song more magical..

I completely agree!! I prefer his duet with Kelly over the original version. It's more soulful, raw and rugged! They BOTH shined at different moments, and never over powered one another. The emotion was there, and I felt it thru my phone! 😀
