I quite enjoy the way he says "Im addressing you..." and then addresses the audience directly: "Are you going to allow your emotional life to be dictated by Time magazine?" and they all laugh, oblivious, just watching everything like its a tv show, laughing when they think they should. There's no pause for thought, only an insatiable desire to fit in.

came here mainly to see if the sample at the start of came out swinging was actually ginsberg. Ended up appreciating this poem as much as the record it inspired. Its sad so much of what he touched on is still relevant almost 70 years later.

Bad news. Read the poem this is a manipulation of the original work with several key lines removed. Still an amazing poem that brings me to tears. Just make sure you get the full poem! This is an abbreviated reading skillfully manipulated to leave out some very key lines.
