Colls ability to make the best players look average and quite slow is outrageous. Nothing flashy but all quality.

9:09 Good to see Asal trying not to move into Coll's way. Though I could almost feel his inner conflict of wanting to block and shouldn't. Anyway, it's a big improvement for him.

I also see improvement in Asal's play. Less blocking, better temperament. Asal is a player of such magnitude he doesn't need gamesmanship and unsporting behaviour to win. His time will come.

It was also good to see Asal concede his pickup. Good signs.

Judging from these highlights, Asal played without any of his antics and both him and Coll were calm throughout to match. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one, since they often fuel each others fire, but in a bad way. Congrats to Coll and Farag, can´t wait for the final.

Coll did his homework and came out prepared. Glad to see!

Great to see Asal sticking to clean squash. It is always frustrating to watch when he goes back to his old habits. He has the potential to be number one, and most squash fans are glad he is doing the right way.

Fantastic to see the sportmanship between Asal and Coll given their rocky start. Asal is really behaving alot better on court nowadays, hope he keeps it up since he has tremendous potential!

Asal conceding pickups? Love to see it!

I'm predicting 3-1 in the final to Coll. Farag is playing well, but Coll has been impressively consistent this week.

Nice to see an Asal game without any controversy. I imagine he's been given a warning. Much better to see from him.

Wow! I never thought Paul would add enough offensive firepower to compliment his retrieving abilities. So glad to see him take it to another level and add another element to his game. Sweet!

Coll's physical conditioning and squash consistency makes him quite a terminator-like player.

Unbelievable mental poise from Paul Coll. He won all the crucial points of the match.

Hesham and his nicks, a good deal of maturity in Asal with Ali and Paul coming through, good stuff.

The final between Coll & Faraq will be a clash of the thinking, patient players.

Coll is a pleasure to watch these days. Real improvement in variety of strokes and tactics. I players like Joel Makin could add some variety to their games.

I'm sorry but Coll plays the most boring squash out of all the top players. His "tactic" is literally just playing the ball to the back of the court for 95 % of the time. Of course, this is still a really hard thing to do at the top level but to imply that this is sort of a great tactic is a joke. He is literally just getting all the balls back and keeping the ball in play. Not exciting at all.

@@peaceforest2286 Coll is known for preparing his matches against specific opponents as much as anyone, it may look like he's just "playing the ball to the back" but there's a lot more going on which is subtle.

@@peaceforest2286 You've completely missed the naunces in his shot selection and what his strategy is really about. It's not just about getting the ball back; it's about using variety of pace to create low-risk opportunities to attack, and making those attacks simple but severe enough to win points. It's a great tactic because his points come from control rather than hopeful nick attempts.

Really steady performance by Coll. His real strength is in a solid defense. He gets back the most challenging attacking shots. He is also showing great tactical awareness. If he continues this form, he will beat Farag in the final.

Steady two top players again in the final!

Wow what a great game to watch ⭐️

Hopefully positive encouragement from the other players on tour help correct asal’s behavior…

Fantastic

I see Asal taking the crown from Coll by the end of this year or early next year. He is much younger and showing great improvement. This will be similar to the past case of Mohammed versus Matthew and Ashor. Youth and development at such a tender age is great magic.

all credit to Asal though for his behaviour in this game, i'm still not Asal's biggest fan but I'm proud of how he kept it clean here

Nice work from Coll. Got his pace and depth spot on. Noticed he was throwing in some medium/slow paced length which seemed to throw Adam off his rhythm a bit…?
