If you search for accomodations according to the furniture criteria, you can definitely get it for even cheaper if it's not furnished at all. Plus the other expenses like the wifi bill, gas and electricity bill can depend on your landlord. THE INTERNSHIP : I am at the same place as you are, I am just in my first year and I can tell y'all the information I got from my seniors and the other sources. Every other day, some new gazette or piece of information is being released by the Medical Authorities all over the world (including India). Keeping in mind that, the duration of internship can vary for you between 1-2 years and the country which you might choose to go to after completing your duration of course here in Egypt. And the things that are applicable for my batch might not be applicable for your batch. Hey there, as far as I am aware, I did not pay anything as ministry fee, the only receipt provided is your initial nomination letter, at the bottom of which they write how much you have paid and the service charged for accordingly, which is in EGP.

I haven't had to deal with patients until now because I am still in the primary stage of med school but the interaction will be in Arabic majorly. Since it's a government medical college and hospital, there are patients from all walks of life and they might not know English. So for that matter, Arabic is important.

Brother, to get a medical license in Egypt, u have to study for 5 yrs+ 2 yrs (internship) this 2 yr internship may or may not be changing to 1 yr(for Indian students). so, yeah internship u have to do there. later after you finish your internship(in Egypt) only you can appear for next-1 then 1yr internship(in India, in whichever medical college u opt for). Then next-2. Now I don't know if it's exactly like this, this is the information which I know. there might be more to it, search on google.

Personally, Cairo University is the best because a certificate from Cairo is mostly valued and more recognized in the world than any other university in Egypt.

Well, i have done some research on both n i will be applying this year ( In Sha Allah) . I will lay out the points for u that i have noted down: 1. Kasr Al ainy (faculty of medicine of CU) is the crowdest medicine faculty among other med faculties in Egypt. ASU comes 2nd btw in this matter :) 2. Got to know from seniors that exams in ASU are a bit harder (as in, invigilators are a bit more strict n not very lenient) than that of CU. 3. Dad's close friend( Egyptian man) told me that the best doctors emerge from ASU n he told me to not join CU, especially cz of the overcrowded environment in CU. 4. From watching vlogs+ reading reviews n FAQs in quora n reddit, ASU has a very clean environment, unlike universities like Cairo and Alexandria. (One adv that most unis have over ain shams is that they follow half-yearly curriculum(2 sem /year with different subjects in both semester) while ASU follows yearly curriculum (like the one mentioned in this video). Now I'm not sure if ASU has half yearly ones as well cz i couldn't get enough info on it) 5. Rankings: doesn't really matter much but ranking of ASU is higher than CU when it comes to FACULTY OF MEDICINE. overall ranking is actually a bit higher for CU than ASU....

Hey there, I don't remember the amount I paid during the entire process, you can go check the timestamp 3:40 it shows all the mentioned expenses which was around 5305 EGYPTIAN POUNDS, and as far as I know, there's nothing called ministry fees, the process of application and all the money submitted through the portal is really transparent. About the attestation process, that part was handled by my father, so I don't know how much it costed. Hope it helps ✨

The monthly cost is variable, you can consider it from 5K EGP to 10K EGP (max), it also depends on the type of area you daughter wants to live in, the lifestyle etc. I don't remember the subjects they give for choosing as it has been a while since my admission, but the main ones are Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English. @Ali-lg1pt I'm actually a student now in mansoura university Manchester programme they actually don't ask for your neet marks but if you want to come back to India after MBBS then you should have cleared NEET and the course duration is 7yrs 5 years+2 years intenship

Mansoura University is good for studying, but not the best for foreign students. Living in Cairo, Giza and Alexandria are the best governorates in Egypt. They have all the services that suit all classes of society.

It really depends on you, but I guess you won't be getting enough time because the university has made attendance mandatory even for lectures recently. Moreover, you have to study regularly but if you can balance everything then you win. ✨

There are only two seasons here, summer and winter, both can be pretty extreme. 🌤️

2 month prior i also had registered for cairo university but then a new guidelines came from indian gazzette ministry ,it was as follows: 1.) A candidate should complete minimum 54 months of theory(4.5 years) and 1 year of internship in the respected country where he/she is acquiring mbbs degree and also should pass the 2 NeXT Exams and the 1 year CSMR Internship in india IN ONLY THE TENURE OF 10 YEARS! 2.If you want a licence in india for practicing you should also have a licence for practicing of that respected country where you are acquiring mbbs degree. And in egypt you have to do 5+2 years of internship and have to clear an exam for its license, And in this 6 to 8 months can be addedd more like if you got any back paper or in publishing of your degree or licence. So only in egypt we are giving 7.5 to 8 years. And we only have remaining two years now. If we clear the Next 1 in first attempt and do the internship and Next 2 in also first attempt, then we will do this all in around 9 years but if we doesnt get to clear the Next Exams in first attempt, all of our studies will go in vein because it will not fit in the 10 year criteria and we will not be able to practice in india. Yet we have another option to practice in middle east because of the degree of egypt but for indians i think practicing here should be the ultimate goal...... This was the only one reason which dominated the others for me........... But you all can choose by your own way..... Thank you😊
