Hello, I got admission in PhD, joining is in 14th July. Hostel is not allocated yet. Do you have any idea when the hostel will be allocated

I think they will allocate once you reach here. For Mtech they are doing so.
are bikes allowed in iit kharagpur? i am joining for btech can i keep my personal bike in iit?

I have no idea. Generally I have seen Bikes for Phd or Mtech Students.
Hello, Is baar kgp main reporting date aur varification date alag alag se diya hain kya hume physical varification ke next day se hi hostel allot ho jayega?

verification ke baad portal me allot ho jayega, then u have to report there.

Sir iit campus k bhr koi better hotel h guardian k stay k liye ...agr students k saath guardian aaye to wo kha stay krenge ?? R cost kitna tk hoga??

Nah anadar nhi..bahar hai kuch hotels. But limited. Try to book and come. 5 km door bhi kuch hotels hai.

Dada, i want to know about the food cost and food available. If i am a scholarship holder at IIT kharagpur , do i have to provide the food cost? Are there foods available for muslim students?

Yes, food and mess cost you have to bare. Typically it's around 40k per semester. Regarding food for Muslim students, i am not sure if there is any specific food. But in general nonveg items are being provided in all the mess.

If you take food from Hostel then you don't need so much money. I am assuming you are having food outside quite frequently. You have to pay around 30-40k to mess and hostel.
