I know not all fellow Jancy fans will agree with me on this but i actually think its better for him and Nancy to spend some scenes apart. I want to see more of him as an individual character and not be defined by his relationship with her like the past two seasons. I want to see his family life, his plans to go to NYU and whether it actually happens or not etc.

Thank you, I really like Jancy but Jonathan needs more character development on his own. Now that he moved it’s a perfect opportunity to build his relationship with Eleven and Will. Especially Eleven because they are very similar characters and it would finally give Charlie a bigger role when he is with the main character the whole time.

This is so sad. I love Stranger Things but the Duffers keep doing Charlie so dirty. All his words in an entire season can be summed up in 5 minutes? Charlie has so much potential as an actor. I really need s4 to focus more on Jancy! Especially Jonathan cuz he barely had a storyline in s3.

@@juanjoyaborja.3054 God can you all just shut the fuck up about that ship, they're not even that compatible, it's all to create some stupid drama, Jonathan and Nancy have a natural relationship, Steve and Nancy are just not working for each other. Jonathan is the guidance for Nancy in a way that he's reliable, Steve needs a guidance, and with Nancy being the one in need of reliability, either Steve grows up tremendously in S5 in a matter of a few episodes, or he can JUST BE STEVE. THE MOM. God why do you people have this urge to ship so much and just be unable to handle a relationship that has some rocky moments, like that doesn't mean they're breaking up. The solution to problems isn't running away. Imo they'll talk out their issues, and Steve will again get friendzoned, reasonably so.

The way he says “why wouldn’t he be safe” has always been and will always be my favourite line delivery from Charlie ever that line fr stuck with me

i love that at least half of his lines is just him screaming nancy 😭😭

he's my favorite character from the first episode, the first time i saw him I knew that he was incredible, he really deservers more love

Charlie Heaton in Stranger Things is like the Cillian Murphy of the Dark Knight trilogy, they out act every other actors and yet the writers still do their characters dirty. Duffers got to wake up and give him more screen time and scenes we’re he can showcase his talents. Enough with the comedy mess of Steve, Dustin, and Robin

Literally, Robin got kind of annoying in season 4 and Steve and Dustin's duo dynamic is already so overused in the series. Jonathan needs the biggest role in season 5 so they can pay the rent and give him the respect he deserved all the way long

It’s crazy how the opposite of everything you hoped for, happened in season 4. His character is simply discarded from the main plot, and he’s basically a stoner the entire time. He’s an awesome actor, but Matt and Ross used none of his potential. And well, Steve, Dustin, and Robin were overused to hell in season 4, and they weren’t even that interesting anyway.

It's disgusting how little a role he got this season when charlie is one of the best actors of the show. I really hope they focus more on him in season 4 and cut off Hopper his character is really blotted in this season. We need to cut out the adults and focus on the kids and teens next season. And Charlie especially, I hope there is a massive subplot dealing with Jonathan just like season 1 where it's about him looking for his brother. I would also love for Jonathan, Eleven, Mike, and Will to be the main group of the next season. Probably the best characters anyways

That’s nothing. Steve’s supposed to be a little over 18, and his actor is quite literally 30. He still looks young, no doubt about it, but I agree that it’s way more ridiculous than the age difference for the younger characters. At least Jane started off as the same age as Brown, Joe was older than Steve to begin with.
