ALL woodworkers should do YouTube

Sup squad, here are my 2 cents on why I think KZread is an excellent revenue opportunity for most - if not all - woodworkers. Obviously, there are probably situations where this doesn't apply, but for the most part, I believe this is an excellent opportunity. If you'd like to add your 2 cents, I would love if you dropped it in the comments below.

As a weekend warrior that perhaps spends more time watching woodworking videos each week than woodworking, recording videos has crossed my mind a few times but when I have nothing much other than a mitter saw, a cordless drill and a Skilsaw and then you see channels like Blacktail Studio and Bourbon Moth with all the Festool plethora it's kind of scary thinking how can I make something even remotely interesting. But you are right, it's all about telling a story that someone might feel related to. Thank you for this video!
You are comical and easy to listen to. continue down this path! keep inspiring.
That's a great idea!
As someone who is only beginning his woodworking career, I find myself overwhelmed with so many different forms of social media. KZread seems like a ton more work than Instagram and TikTok, but it's just another step in the journey. Your content is great man, Keep up the good work!

Thanks Nathan. I agree with that. I am going through that with learning how to make content. Analysis paralysis. Sometimes, you just need to start making some sawdust.
Great video man. As someone just starting out I definitely feel the getting better each and every time.
I couldn't agree with you more! I thought about filming me making things and then having a tablet setup at a craft show so people can see that I am actually doing the work and how I do it. Not trying to really make anything for KZread

I think that’s a great idea. It will showcase your hard work to the buyers, it would likely increase the value of your work
agreed. I plan on doing videos myself, its just a matter of getting started. It seems like there aren't a ton of really great channels to watch so even new channels take off pretty fast. I caved and started an instagram, youtube is next.
