The snow storm is the best and on the twilight session (night) the slides all dark so you can’t see anything were the drop or anything is!

when it gets darker the drop becomes less visible but still clear. obviously the light blue bits on the tantrum funnel let light in and yeah. but you can always see the drop unless you have one last go wright before the slide closes at night it might be dark

Pink one is the least scary (mat one) Then the green one (olympic run) Then the prple one (dark one) Then the blue one. However I enjoyed all one them especially the purple one :) Defo place to go when visiting Scarborough xx

Really nice, but it's sad that the ORIGINAL Alpamare (started 1970) which was located in Bad Tölz, south Germany, my beloved hometown - has been closed in 2015. It was great! 1977 they opened a second Alpamare in Pfäffikon, Switzerland, and now since 2016 this new Alpamare in UK. The slides and even the "skid mats" (I don't know how you call this in english) reminds me very much of the original Alpamare - it was great fun but also expensive. I think they closed it because the necessary renovations would have been to expensive.

I really like the Alpamare Scarborough. I liked all the slides. Although the Snow Storm was quite hard to ride, as the nature of the queuing system for the ride is very different, I still managed to have a chance to ride it and I definitely enjoyed it! I also really liked the Olympic Run and was definitely quite fast. The Crests Run was also lots of fun and has several nice turns. Finally, the Black Run was my favourite, as it was very fast and was a body slide, and I really like body slides! Although it was quite dark, it still had some really nice lights. Unfortunately, at the end the slide got a bit uncomfortable, however, I believe that it is mainly to do with the speed not the nature of the slide. It was just something to get used to with that slide. However, this did not hurt at all. I really also enjoyed the outdoor area including the outdoor heated pool. Overall, I really enjoyed my day at Alpamare Scarborough.

The first drop on snow storm doesn’t actually look that but on camera but when your actually experiencing it it’s really high

My first visit here was when i was seven years old and i found the slides scary. Back then i went on cresta run which i thought was very fast and fun. Olympic run i was scared of and i missed black run cus i was too scared to go on but i hated snowstorm. But revisiting it as a 12 year old i found it great. On snowstorm (by far the most fun and best ride) the drop on the video does not look that steep but in real life it really is steep and you plummet really fast down the big drop and feel weightlessness for a second and its really fun and intense. i found Olympic run okay and really fast me and my brother went on its really fun. Cresta run i thought was second to first partly because the mat experience was very fun and because you literally turn really sharp corners and bends which is very intense and extra fun. Black run was also a fun and pitch black apart from some little lights fun body slide. There is also a very good wave pool garden pool and infinity pool. I recommend you visit Alpamare Scarborough.

Without putting a dampener in this place, I'm glad when i went to Scarborough a long time ago that The Waterscene was the place to go. Outdoors, the longest slides in Europe, great great fun. So sad its now just a memory. 😢

I think if alpamare had enough money they should invest in making a conveyor belt that lifts the four dinghy for snowstorm up a hill so you don't have to carry it up the stairs it's so heavy. I always have problems carrying it up. But Olympic run is soo fun and beats snowstorm by an inch. But they are all fun recommend going.

Ja, sehr traurig, das Alpamare so zu sehen. Aber die Konkurrenz in Erding war wohl einfach zu groß und die Eintrittspreise völlig überzogen.

@@tuberides.official Das stimmt, leider war es ja Privat geführt und bekam keine Subventionen, deshalb musste man die Preise nach oben schrauben. Wobei ich sagen muss dass mich der Preis nicht Mal gestört hat, wenn ich mir denke dass es bis dato das Bad war das das sauberste Wasser hatte und die Atmosphäre war unvergleichlich.

Snow storm is fun but not the best when your at the back it drops really steep and when you go through the hole it’s super steep it’s horrible. But it’s fun :)

At 1:36 There is a massive drop and you just fall down, you cant really notice it on the video because it looks like it is sliding

when I went to alpamare the LIFEGUARD threw us down the blue slide causing us to go right up the side of the wall then smashed us down then when I went on the green slide it went really fast. Needless to say I was salty and didn't go on the purple and pink slide. But now I have a free pass considering I live in Scarborough.

Alpamare is good but I found there's not really any intermediate slides for kids of about 6 or 7. Could really do with a Lazy River too

Hey, we were using the GoPro with a head strap and also with the "Handler" grip. We had written permission to bring our camera, so I don't know what the policy of the park is concerning GoPros, sorry :(

The food is very expensive and to be honest crap, the slides we're loads of fun, pools very warm, wave pool again fun, a good family day out, expensive I reckon but no more than spending the day in Scarborough.

I went on the Snow Storm and screamed the whole way down, as did my sister in between screaming "I WANT A DIVORCE" at her husband who had told us both it was a slow ride. Horrid experience if you don't like fast, stomach-grabbing rides.
