All Types of Thrust Bearings Explained with example! Thrust bearing animation

This is 2nd part of Bearing Master Class basic series,
In this video I have explained Thrust bearing with a bicycle example
also, How much thrust load we can apply on a deep groove ball bearings.
and the topics are:
1. What is Radial loading and Axial loading
2. What is Thrust Bearing
3. Type of Thrust Ball bearings
4. Types of Cylindrical Roller Thrust bearings.
5. Type of Needle roller thrust bearing
6. Deep groove ball bearing axial loading capacity
7. Can we apply thrust load on cylindrical roller bearing
Next Part: Angular contact bearing • Angular Contact Bearin...

    @@mastermechanicaldesign Quality over quantity. As long as you continue making videos, I am okay. You don't have to post every week, even a video every month is plenty if your new videos will be as high quality as the old ones.

    3:24 isn't the thrust bearing already constrained by the step in the shaft ? Or is the internal ring used for the outer raceway ?

  • @mastermechanicaldesign

    @mastermechanicaldesign

    2 ай бұрын

    Not fully constrained. To fully constrain we will have to clamp from top-bottom. Because this bearing design is not integrated.
