I need the movie to come out on streaming so more of their scenes can be edited together 😭. Currently painfully obsessed since seeing it in theatres. Lovely and addictive song choice. Already rewatched like 15x 💕. Also if anyone knows some well written fan fiction about them, I need an alternate ending to get over the cannon.

@@doIIsparts ah I loved it the minute I came back home I started looking up interviews with the cast, edits, followed them on ig and getting a bit obsessed tbh loved it so much!! i haven’t read the book so the ending for me was confusing however 10/10

My theory is simple. Katniss Everdeen would be the granddaughter of Lucy Gray Baird and Coriolanus Snow! Because at the end of the prequel, Lucy Gray "disappears" but nothing says that she was killed, and even less that she was killed by Snow who, I remind you, was very, very in love with her! I actually imagine that they separated but that Lucy Gray was already pregnant with Snow! Then everyone remained in their own world, he in the Capitol and she in District 12. It could also be that they saw each other regularly in a discreet way, a sort of secret relationship, because they had a child together. If my theory is correct, this would explain why Snow spared Katniss's life several times, even though he could have killed her very easily. It's because he knew she was his granddaughter. And that would also explain why Katniss didn't kill him at the end with her arrow but killed the new president Alma Coin. With one arrow, she made two shots. 1) she didn't kill her grandfather 2) she got rid of Coin who wanted to restart the Hunger games. This theory would make me think of a sort of twist like in Star Wars when we learn that Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker's father. If we learned, for example, that President Snow was in fact Katniss's grandfather, it would be a masterful twist! Perhaps this theory will be verified in the next book recounting the lives of Snow and Lucy Gray when they are 30 or 40 years old. I can't wait for him to finally find out the truth about the adult lives of Coriolanus Snow and Lucy Gray Baird! I firmly believe that their relationship did not end at the end of this prequel but that, on the contrary, it began at that moment! I can't wait to find out what happens next!

I love your theory, or maybe also Lucy Gray escaped with her son/daughter and Snow was trying to find them everywhere, because Lucy was the on,y woman he loved. Then, he finds out that Katniss is his granddaughter. It is very possibke, if not, how did Katniss learned that song? also in the movie Lucy mentions the word Katniss when her friend gave her a plant, and Katniss herself having many similar body language to Lucy
