This song is literally the sweetest. Sometimes I think ATL are too pop than punk for me and no, I am not a die hard fan but I can listen to three of their albums in one sitting and feel like I've seriously enjoyed myself. Since I write novels their songs really help me string together high school backdrops and romance and conflict.

I actually was at a Hot Topic looking at their band merch and a worker told me that he went to college with them. I love the part when young Alex become the adult version of himself and he is happy on the stage and he have fun. Is like to say that he found his place. Very meaningful, every ATL's song has a story, they are like poems.

Unless you're from Baltimore like me, you wouldn't catch that the "Bulls Head" venue in the video, is actually called "Ram's Head" in the actual city.

I was born, raised and still live in Baltimore. As soon as he sang "Do it for Baltimore," and I saw my hometown on the screen, I got shivers. I don't even care this song is about his love situation or what have you. I feel proud right now. This should play in the Harbor's speakers instead of Hairsprays, "Good Morning Baltimore." I would jam the HELL OUT to this while I go for walks.

We all have to admit... Mortimer is the most fabulous in the yearbook. He better win Prom Queen.

I Grew Up In Maryland and to know that ATL, my favorite band actually originated from Baltimore was pretty awesome

That part where Alex's rose tattoo grew on his hand made me cry. It was like seeing all the pain he's been though right in front of me. They've all grown up so fast

I listen to ATL on my nightly bike rides, each song fits perfectly while I ride around an empty parking lots with nothing but the street lights lighting my way, the cars in the distance as I speed down the streets. Fuck why didn't I listen to them earlier??! 😭😭

When I was 12 years old, I used to listen to this song and wish I was in secondary school. (Ireland). I would count down the weeks until my first day of first year. I had this whole idea of what it would be like, and it was so very different. Im 14 now, and This week is my last full week of second year. I dont listen to All Time Low anymore. Oh how I wish i could go back and tell my younger self to live in the present and enjoy primary school. This song has a new message for me. It no longer represents my excitement for the future. But instead, it tells me to live in the present and enjoy my current situation, because what may seem like hell now, is nothing more than a small nightmare which will end soon. Edit: I finished secondary school today, the 25th May 2022. Fuck.

So underrated

In 2016 when I was 12, I used to listen to this song every single day. For me, this song represented all the excitement and cool shit of becoming a teenager. So I listened to this song as a way to get excited for starting secondary school in September 2016. Every single random moment of this video, I can remember what I used to think about, for example, the still panel of the guys in the locker room always made me really excited to just have friends and do random shit. Well, today, the 25th May 2022, over 6 years since I started listening to this song out of excitement, I walked out of secondary school for the last time as a student. Today was my last day of secondary school. I’m 18 now. My secondary school experience was nowhere near as exciting as I used to imagine it would be back when I would listen to this song each day, but I don’t mind that so much. I can’t change the past. In 6 years I made 3 great friends so that is truly priceless. Yeah I imagined having tons of cool friends and going out all the time, but I didn’t. It’s ok though. I had some fun times and I have a good future ahead of me hopefully. So yeah here I am, at the end of this chapter of my life. I still view it all as Chapter 1 though. Actually, no, this is just the prologue. Yeah, so my school time turned out to be way less exciting, but fuck it I can’t do anything about it. I’m glad it’s over and I’m glad I’ll be over and done with next month when I do my exams. My advice to any younger teenagers who are still in school… take it slow. Just enjoy the little things and don’t look back. Don’t fuck around and do drugs or shit like that just have a good teenage experience with some good friends. You might end up like me, someone who ended up having a pretty boring experience compared to what I expected, but at least I finished school safe, well, and looking toward my new future. The same can’t be said for my classmates who dropped out n shit like that. Make the most of your time, but remember that your school time isn’t your whole life, so don’t worry if you haven’t done much because I certainly didn’t lol. But, when opportunities for parties or hanging out come up, don’t cancel. Go to the party or go out in town with your friends, whatever. As the song says “Just do it for the memories”. This is a short mantra I kinda unconsciously followed whenever I could throughout the years and it really helps. Even the most random experience will give you little fun memories to look back on later. Best of luck to everyone. Oh, also, prioritise studying over everything else. A good teenage experience means nothing if you fail your exams at the end of school.

Memories of my senior year in High School

i listened to this last year on a thursday while going to baltimore :)

It's 10 years since I first listened to this song on VH1, I didn't have a phone that could run KZread and my laptop for some reason bugged out when trying to play it, since then I wanted to listen to it again but didn't know the name nor the right lyrics, today I finally found and now I'ma listen to it until I'm tired
