Whose arrangement is that? Almost sounds like some of the slow Kenton ballads from back in the early sixties.

the arrangement is by Henk Meutgeert, with an interesting harmonization in the key of A instead of Aflat

jazzbari Had to come back and listen to it agai! OUT STANDING! I didn't realize it had been transposed up a half step. I play it on piano in A right out of my fakebooks. All The Things You Are has got to be one of the all time best jazz standards. The harmonization is just off the hook!

Gutpile Charlie The choral is indeed harmonized in A while the melody remains in Aflat. So the first note of the melody (Aflat) is harmonized withan E mayor chord insead of a F minor...

That is in the TUTTI after the solo, isn't it? The first part with the saxophones is in Ab major, and it uses very close movement (seconds) in the inner voices and bass. As parsimonious movement. Nice arrangement!

Eindeutig. Hier ist es bestätigt. Die Niederlande ist in allem besser, ausser Fussball.Duidelijk. Hier is het bevestigd: Nederland is in alles beter dan voetbal.Clearly. Here it is confirmed. The Netherlands is better in everything but Football.

Falsch mein lieber Freund.Heute is bestaetigt das Niederlanden auch in Fussbal besser isst als Deutchland.Oktober 2018 Schlimme Pleite fuer Der Mannschaft 3-0 fuehr Der Niederlanden..Ooooooops!The Netherlands is better in everything also Footbal -;)
