Jazz from Gallus Hall 2016 series. Ljubljana Academy of Music Big Band strikes again. This is one of the best youth jazz groups ever existed. They play as kings of jazz music, although they all play in classical programs. Behind this magic is conductor Matej Hotko, who leads this orchestra as nobody else. Music from this group is pure enjoyment, pure magic and just awesome poetry of life itself. I invited them again on an incredible musical journey on Gallus Hall, Cankarjev dom, Slovenia elite set. I recorded them also with cinema cameras in film prime lenses. I recorded and produced small portraits of our best Slovenian youth musician, superbly led by conductor Matej Hotko. Profesor Jaka Pucihar was this year assistant director. Behind cameras are talented kids of my Gimnazija Kranj Film Crew. I hope you will enjoy this jewel of art and music.
