In this week’s episode I have not one but 2 test knits. I have castonitis and there is something about the spring that makes me throw out the “I will not test knit” statement I guess designers are just too tempting. I am trying to look at my wardrobe and find things that will fill gaps. This week I will share some past knits that I made to wear in warmer weather, I hope this will give you some knitting pattern inspiration.

I've had yarn for the Misurina for a long time now, but for some reason it intimidates me. Not sure why, as everyone seems to love it 🤔 😊

Sandra You've got this!!! I always find patterns are less intimidating with the project in front of you broken down step by step they are often easier than we think. I'll cheer you on
After being inspired by you earlier, I finally started my Rota Jumper! I hope it comes out like with similar proportions to yours. 😊

Gosh I love all of those Caitlin Hunter colorwork sweaters! I love the idea of doing one in a linen blend, but I’m a bit intimidated by colorwork in a plant fiber 😅 but maybe that’s a good reason to try! I’ll have to go back to the video where you talk in depth about the alpine bloom to see what tips you had for the jump from wool to linen 💜 Otherwise, I’m thinking about trying something from Sari Nordlund, or maybe the ship shape (saw that on the grocery girls). Love your Upton Tee hack! Maybe that one too 😍

Jennifer I am sure I over complicate things, Colorwork in plant fiber really is not too different im fussy so I used ladder back jacquard for floats but I am sure others haven't, I can't wait to see what design you cast on! (Also if you knit a pattern with short color changes you won't have to worry about floats at all 🖤😉
I really enjoy looking at your projects. Someday I want to make the ranunculous. The one thing I do not like is that everything is so supersized to me. How can you reduce the ease?

Yes all items show that are finished have been blocked the only one that wasn’t was the striped one
