I actually like the Jason wu lipstick on you ! I don't know that it really matched your makeup (a bit too monochromatic perhaps?) but I think it's flattering with your skin tone and eye color :)

Use the haus labs blush with the elf glow product, you can get a nice glowy blush

The lip colour suits you. I'm pretty sure the J Wu is a Korean velvet lip tint as its a "Kbeauty " brand in the wider sense and they are not as drying as the old Western liquid lips. In that case applying little and blotting it out w the finger is the best way to apply it anyway 😊as its not intended to be painted all over your lips

I don't like "lighter" lip colors either because they make me look paler than I already am... maybe try and use a slightly darker lip liner with the Jason Wu lip cream, that could look gorgeous

Ooh interesting, I feel like the philosophy I’ve heard is the opposite - that dark lips aren’t well suited to really light skin tones! Just goes to show that it totally depends on the person. I’ve been experimenting with using the Jason Wu lip in different ways and I’ve come to really like it :)

@@laralikesmascara So glad you're liking it 🥳I think mid-toned lip colors generally look best on fair skin tones because they give some color to the face without being too harsh. Darker colors can look good too, but it probably depends on the tone :) don't come for me tho, I am not an expert 😂

Think I went too heavy with buying products over holidays-plus preparing for work trip. Hoping I can go on low buy for next few months. Plus I just repurchased my essentials concealer and mascara. Love to see more videos for get ready and what you used up or added in future.

I feel this, I didn’t even buy any products but because I was gifted them all over the holidays it felt like so much was brought into my collection at once!

Really enjoyed this video ! Was a bit shook when I heard you say you were excited to try the hot pink blush because you always say you don't like hot pink things 😅 so that was surprising and proof that people's preferences evolve and change throughout time ! :) the makeup look , looks sooo springy and pretty 🧚🏻🤍

I was thinking that today as well, because I was considering decluttering my bright pink NYX blush because of the colour! And you probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference on the cheek between it and the hot pink in the palette…. So maybe part of it is the packaging?? Idk 🤷🏼‍♀️ but my feelings about hot pink lips definitely haven’t changed, at least

@@laralikesmascara I mean now that you have that color in a palette you like more and in a newer formula you could probably declutter the other one . Otherwise it's basically a duplicate of a color you don't wear that much 😅

Abh!!! That's what the blush trios remind me of 😅they look like the old ABH blush trios that were also vacation themed. I wear multiple blush colours basically every day and use them to sculpt. You can do so much w mixing and blending different shades😁 Really enjoy GRWMs like this 😊as well as your panning content. I love people talking about and using their make up but without the constant what is new /what shall we buy /you should get it circus

Thank you!! I actually feel like sometimes blush works better than bronzer in terms of being able to sculpt your cheekbones - just has to do with the colour and placement :)

I do also like the ElF Halo Glow already on my second bottle. 2024 I’m on a no buy only replacement if necessary since 2023 was a little hectic. 😊
