you should check the actual stargate series, it is really cool

The Stargate Cartouche with the address can be mined so you can take it home and don't have to write it down. Also, you'll have to explore Abydos and find one with your return address. Also also, those gloves in chests you keep skipping add damage and have their own slot.

In Stargate lore, earth found the Stargate without the DHD (dial home device) they found one address that they could get a "lock" on, and the gate opened. Every Cartouche you find in your home dimension will all be that address. You are now in Abydos, the only planet you can currently get to with your known adresses. Everything is mostly ancient Egyptian themed as the bad guys (Goa'uld) pretend to be gods, and chose the gods that we know as ancient mythology. They were all of them (except Norse) but really the show only interacts with the Egyptian ones. In Abydos they found a much larger cartouche containing hundreds of addresses. They were able to go to those because with all the new info, they were able to update their algorithms to account for stellar drift over 10+thousands of years. They had to do this because they did not have a DHD. Most other Stargates have it, so the race who built them codded it to keep up with drift. The race who built the gates are "The Ancients" and were earths first evolution of our form, they had super human abilities, healing, telepathy, telekinesis; as the natural evolution of our form. They eventually evolved into pure energy beings, with no physical bodies, they vowed to not interfere with "lower" (material) planes. The Goa'uld are evil, advanced, space faring race, they are basically small snakes who parasitically control their hosts. None of the tech they use was created by them, they stole everything, and just know how to recreate it and use it. (some few sciency ones do understand how it works, but they still couldn't really improve much on it). I think that's a fairly good recap of basic lore, im sure i missed a few things, but for a beginner, this is Basically everything! ! There is MUCH more lore, including the Norse mythology i mentioned earlier, actual gods, different galaxies, and time travel!

Here are 2 other adresses for the gate: Chulak -> 8,1,22,14.36,19 and Lantea - > 18,20,1,15,14,7,19. Without the DHD u still can use cc:tweaked (computercraft) to dail manualy as they do in the films and series. U can find a program on pastbin for it. Just make a basic interface and hook it up to the modem and the bottom of the gate. Dont forget that the gate needs power and u can give it trough the interface. Some games have also an gate on the nether roof. For me the was Adress -> 8,35,34,25,14,27,15,2. Dont know if that would be the same for u or others. U can also make ur own gate with DHD, but u cant use cc:tweaked for it, same for the other portals. Cc:tweaked works only with the milky way gate. Have fun with the gate.

Hey Chosen! I wanted to let you know, if you didn't know already, that if you collect enough spirit orbs and offer them to the goddess totem you can occasionally find in villages, you can increase your stamina and hearts from the Paragliders mod. I found that they really help early on with health.

Incase anyone finds this comment, the bundle bag will hold 64 apotheosis gems, normally they dont stack. Hope thisbhelps someone!

So something to note: Sniffer Eggs come from Suspicious Sand in Warm Ocean biomes.

Whilst most Greg ores are only useful for/usable with Gregtech, the Greg redstone variant can be smelted for 5 redstone per drop.

Coal can me smelted into 2 coal as well, which is a profit, diamond ore is worth it as well, as a vein usually holds 32+ of the ore and you can smelt it directly into diamonds

Same with greg emeralds and diamonds! Greg diamonds spawn in large veins too.

Stargates are always one way even if it didn't close behind you you can't go back through you need to dial home using the dhd (dial home device)... Stargate is easily my favorite sci-fi series.

Babylon 5 is also a really good series. Writing is top notch and the special effects are still decent enough to watch without throwing you out of immersion. I love Stargate because it was a lot of discovery and overarching plotline, but similar to Star Trek, they ended up padding the series with a lot of monster of the week or cause of the week--like social or political issues the writers or director wanted to spotlight in their episode.

Watching this guys videos is like a breath of fresh air. I'm so used to watching people who are either incredibly monotone, or they are overly energetic. This content feels like the perfect middle ground that I can simply enjoy while watching rather than having to ignore certain things the entire time.

the BOTW paraglider towers with waystones are one of my favorite ways to get around in minecraft, watching you break the waystone and leave without saving the tower as a location was so heartbreaking haha!!

the place he ended up, no bad guys show up in that desert, but the plains bio has them, there are buildings in the desert that have other addresses, but they are each random, (just like the start of the show!) good luck ever getting home also the mod seems not finished as that is meant to be a walled city you showed up in, but it's still a great mod, you can even make your own Stargate or gate rings, if you can work out the pattern to put them into, no help book, and I couldn't find a site that explains that, but the things in the stargate-journey mod show that they plan on making lots more for it, so I hope it keeps going 😁

that first temple with the creepers at the bottom is chaos but there is also alot of chests down there usually packed with lots of stuff

I also get the exploring alot in the beginning. I normally end up doing that because im VERY picky about where I build my home 😂

Pretty solid episode. Definitely beats the "hey. We started a new world. We're gonna grind for resources." montage I see from other videos. Modded definitely gives you a reason to explore Minecraft vs vanilla's unlock everything and build until we're bored mechanic.

Whenever I start in this pack, I have a few objectives I like to do: 1. Get Dank Storage. Danks are like shulker boxes but items can be stackable and more so if you upgrade them. Auto pickup too. I usually have one for blocks, a second for ores and a third for mob drops. Amazing early game when collecting a lot of resources. 2. Backpack. Just more inventory space as I explore. Trust me. You'll need it. 3. A spell book from ars. Great for several reasons. Breaking blocks from a distances like spawners and magic torches to easily light up areas. I also go exploring for a structure from rogue-like dungeons. Great to get equipment. Risk-reward.

My generation of your seed (later mod pack version probably), had the stargate but no sign pointing to the location of your base village. The base village isn't there, but a village is close by on the other side of the river, and the game put a ginormous pillager tower practically in the center of the town.

I was hoping that this would be next!!!😁

You are one of those youtubers that reminds me how much I suck at the aesthetic and artistic parts of mc. Especially in the technical packs. I used to play sky factory like everyone else and make a gigantic wood platform with sprawling random factory stuff, then I watched your skyfactory 4 series and thought, oh yeah you don't have to build one giant floating platform...or at least some people don't... I try but even after 10 years its just not my thing and I resort to 2014 looking builds, hell some of my stuff looks like beta mc

The temple in the meadow had some good loot down at the bottom 😅

Hey chosen umm I just started watching your lets play here and I don't know if you figured this out already but the stargate mod is based on a series called stargate about a team of explorers who travel to different worlds and the planet you were on here is called abudos (sorry for my miss spelling) and you can find al sorts of new tech and weapons and etc through out these worlds and the address is different to get back the earth (aka the overworld) hope this helped ;)

I go straight for the Ars spell-book just to sling mage lights around - upgrade to get silk touch break for use on spawners.

you can wear the traveller's backpack in addition to your sophisticated backpack. the traveller's has its own invisible slot.

I wouldve picked up that apple tree to get the saplings. Those apples grow back incredibly fast. So its a good food source for early game.

for easier looting, I am suggest you centralize all the loot in one area and put a waypoint down for easier looting and least running around for something small later

i hve been playing ATM 9 for a week now im getting some really good loot and im pretty stacked i tried using this seed but i got a completely different world and recently i found out i had ATM 9 - No Frills Instead of the regular ATM 9 and now im mad lol gotta start over and grind ig lol
