I start off by saying thank you very much for this video for it means to me a lot as a young boy was one of the best cars I ever seen but I was scared of them every time they started them up I ran away Little by little I came to love them because they tell the story of America when people went out and had so much fun racing their cars so I tell you again thank you very much rad rods and gasser truly to my heart.

I've seen a lot of gassers and raced them in the 60's. Would like THESE cream puffs with their 50, 60, 70 thousand dollar paint jobs (which ARE beautiful) to actually race.

Hi, can you please tell me what the differences are between the classes? Gasser, pro stock, ect. I don’t know.

That's a great question Dale. And it's a question that would take about an entire page to cover. There are more then 200 classes of vehicles in 15 categories. Several things play a roll in the answer such as weight, cubic displacement, how fast, style of car etc etc etc. To answer that the best I can I would refer someone to a web site called Drag Racing Classes - NHRA. There you can really dive in and find the exact answers your looking for. Hope that helps and let me know if it did or not, thanks for watching the vid and I hope you liked it!

I have seen a lot of gassers in my days but never seen on with independent suspension is there any out there ❓❓
