There's no writing language called Taiwanese😅. The book is written in traditional Chinese, and only have minor difference with simplied Chinese.

@@uzumakiboruto284MXTX is the acronym for the author’s name (Mo Xiang Tong Xiu). MXTX is the author to some of the most famous Chinese BL novels (TGCF, MDZS, Scum Villain) known globally. TGCF has a full English translation of the original novel across 8 volumes, 2 donghua seasons and 1 audio drama season. It also has a new revised Chinese version (I haven’t read it but I heard there’s more HuaLian moments / interactions 😍). In my opinion, this series was full of plot twists and I absolutely love love love the character development across all the characters and the way the plot progressed. It pained me as much as it made me smile. For MDZS (Mo Dao Zu Shi / Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation), if I rmb right, there’s a completed audio drama across 3 seasons, completed donghua across 3 seasons, and a live action (The Untamed) and also the full English translation across 5 volumes (?) I think. Great series as well, loved the live action but from my understanding, there were parts of it that didn’t follow the novel. Animation was beautiful but it was super fast paced and confusing, and it may be slightly difficult to differentiate the characters at the beginning so I think watching the live action first helped in understand the plot better compared to the animation. Scum Villain is the shortest of the 3 series by MXTX but I haven’t gotten to reading / watching it myself so I can’t comment much but I know there’s an an animation of it (1 season) Personally, I really like MXTX’s writing style because the characters are never put on a pedestal and made to be perfect. They may seem to be at first glance but all of them have a very humane side to them that says “we are not perfect, we make mistakes too” but in a way that makes your heart ache for them and love them even more. The side characters are also usually explored quite in depth and given their own story within the full plot which I really appreciate bcos some novels tend to just touch and go with side characters. My personal fav as of now is TGCF (story wise) but there are many other great BLs too, I think following Kictor will give you access to many of these BLs cos she tends to have details on the most updated trends and news surrounding this circle. I am too sure about Donghua specifically, but there’s Link Click which is also quite popular lately and the concept it explores is pretty cool (not exactly a BL but there are hints of it). Other famous BLs include The Husky and his White Cat Shizun (haven’t read this but it’s super popular and I plan to read it soon), and Guardian (there’s a live action for this, heard it’s pretty good). Ofc there are many more I dun know of but I think you can follow Kictor to find out the more well known ones ☺️ Think I may have overshared but I hope it helps to get you started and that it didn’t bore u 😄

Now you gotta buy the German hardcover books with painted pages! ...Like I did lol. A bit sad they used the same artwork as for the Taiwanese and English books but...the painted pages make sooo up for it. Also very interesting is that they used latin (?) words for Supreme, wrath, devastation etc instead of German ones. ..would have been hard to read I guess lol I also want Starembers artbook ❤ or the thai books and artbook. They are also so beautiful!

I'm bummed because I moved and now can't find one of my volumes of TGCF. I also got laid off from my day job so I can't afford to replace it right now. Good thing is I read the full novel before the official English release. I know I'll be able to replace it eventually. I'm bummed because I moved and now can't find one of my volumes of TGCF. I also got laid off from my day job so I can't afford to replace it right now. Good thing is I read the full novel before the official English release. I know I'll be able to replace it eventually. Hadn't thought about it until now, but having backup copies (when you can afford it) is kind of a good idea 😄

Yesterday I got my third book signed by the artist behind russian artwork😎 It was an autograph session and q&a with the artist and you could also have your books stamped with the stamp copy of author's autograph! I got handed a pretty card too I almost cried😭
