This song hits me personally, I love a guy I know so SO much yet he likes another girl. Aghhh I know how it feels. I’ve liked this guy for YEARS and have had to be his comfort friend for a while. Ive helped him through so many breakups and everything. The worst part is as a gay man I assumed he didn’t like guys at all but my heart STILL refused to move on. Later he told me he did and that he had found “the guy”. It hurts me so much that it wasn’t me. They broke up recently and I don’t really know how to feel. High school is ending next year and it pains me that I won’t even have the courage to ask him out. 😞

Being an old dude, this music reminds me of the easy listening jazz of the 60's. A bit like a cross between 'lounge music' and 'Girl from Ipanema'.
