In conclusion, Ayano's father, Mr. Aishi, had Stockholm syndrome, which is what was kidnapped falling in love with the kidnapper, is a serious psychological state. And probably the other tapes from 2 to 9 are kept, not for Ayano's sake, but for her mother's sake so as not to remind her husband of all the torture

Not necessarily, I believe he's just acting out stockholm syndrome to increase his chance of living. He's probably already given up on escaping long before they even tried having a kid. People with stockholm syndrome will develop positive feelings for their captor and even other hostages, and negative towards the police. In the tapes, he was sarcastic with Ryoba and just went along with whatever she said, but without any enthusiasm or happiness

Maybe one could be if he ever tries escaping, and maybe she loses it. Or perhaps, forcing some "romantic moments" whether it's s**, dinner, dates, or even normal living. Who knows 😂 there's almost endless ideas and possibilities but I'm very excited for the rest of the tapes

I think that maybe Ryoba hid those tapes from Ayano so she cannot see her mother's behaviour (especially since Ryoba promised her husband she won't tell Ayano anything she did in the 80's Man, that sucks.

Okay theory time!! though Ryoba had to make sure Ayano's dad was 100% not getting away from her, I do think I have a reason why. Since it's been 3 decades, Ryoba completely trusts Ayano. I think that something was triggered inside him to get him to escape. This is why he went down to the basement to get the old tapes. For evidence! This is also shown when Ryoba says "Did you get nostalgic for the good old days?" He replies with " I suppose you could say that..." I don't think Ayano's dad got stockholm syndrome and he wasn't mind broken either, on the wiki, (and I think the yandere simulator characters page on the website) Ryoba felt bad that her father was mindbroken, so she didn't want to do the same. Then again, there are a few holes to my theory, but its the only thing I think that could explain why he went to get the tapes!

Wait are you saying that she plans the trip to let her husband escape? If you’re saying this i can say that this is not true. If you listen to the tapes of the journalist you can hear that he wants to escape somewhere else since ryoba caught him trying to gather evidence of her killing somebody. Ryoba also mentioned in the tape that the duration of their trip depends on how fast she takes „him“ down, so I’m pretty sure she is following the journalist and doesn’t trust her husband to not escape. Or did i misunderstand your comment? If yes, I’m sorry xD

I mean if she really didn't mindbroke him and to make sure that he doesn't escape and he also remembers exactly what happened I suppose that there's a small little connection between the ways that you're supposed to mind break someone causes according to the game you're supposed to mind break them by torturing them until they become a full mindslave that just gives them a weapon and they're gonna go kill whoever you tell them to kill in this particular case I think that she just brainwashing in some way if that makes sense like she makes sure that he knows what she's capable of and what will happen if he tries to leave and I think that the most reasonable thing is that she also threatened him of something if he ever tries to escape and on the game where you have the option to snap you get to kill senpai and say "if I can have you no one else can" and then proceed to kill yourself so I think that by doing something like that to him he would more likely be thinking about his daughter in this scenario. (This is just my own speculations and my own way of thinking I'm sorry if I misunderstood what you're trying to say)

5:24 “It depends on how fast I can track him down” In the “mysterious tapes” i listened to in the game The investigator was talking about Ayano’s mom’s murders (sorry if I spelled some things wrong, I don’t speak English well) The murders are exactly like Ayano did, stalking a boy, killing the girls and murdering them, that’s the point At the last tape the investigator (in which, I think is Info Chan’s dad (THEORY) and I’ll explain if someone asks) The investigator explains in a panic that Ayano’s mom spotted him (the dude was basically watching her every move and following her to get proof to the police to arrest her) and explains something along the lines of “I need to leave to a new town- no- a new country” he most likely moved to America, that’s why Ayano’s mom said “we’re going to America! It depends on how long it can take to track him down” Ayano’s mom is trying to get the investigator is basically what I’m trying to say I’m sorry if this comment seems confusing so if someone asks I’ll try to explain it easier

@@emiliolescure6410 The theory is because in the mysterious tapes he says "She even bought her own computer" signaling that his daughter got a computer, but how did she get it in the first place (Info Chan getting undie shots, blackmail things and she can get money from doing so and got enough money to get a computer) Another reason is because "She comes home with blood on her uniform" might be a reason because Info chan could've gave Ayano her uniform instead Another reason is Info Chan is trying to get Ayano's trust, and maybe soon to find out more information about Ayano's mother to arrest her. Info Chan also has the ability to get Ayano arrested because of the information, like Ayano can be buying poison from her and show it as proof, and from there Info Chan can threaten Ayano’s mom to arrest her daughter aka Info Chan can blackmail her Info Chan could've gave the student council information that Ayano is the daughter of whatever Ayano's mom name is, and feeding them information about Ayano, mostly to Megami and from that information, her father made her avoid Ayano and not let her attend school soon, Info Chan also could've gave Megami information that she (Ayano) is exactly like Ayano's mom, aka a murderer and makes Megami suspicious and tells the rest of the Student Council to be cautious around her I mean, that's what other people say so I cant really confirm it either

Long story short: Investigator was stalking Ryoba because she sus, and then Ryoba spots him, thus the investigator tries to escape to another country and ryoba tries to find him (to most likely kill him)

@@m1c4ela14 I agree and this theory makes sense and is 100% correct except for one thing.. The dev said he was originally planning on info chan betraying Ayano in the end, but gave up on this idea. Although if he recently said he brought this idea back up I'm not sure so I could be wrong. I just think that if she gets Ayano's mother and possibly Ayano herself arrested, it's still a betrayal and therefore it cannot be info chan's motive. I believe there may be something else to info chan, I just haven't thought what it could be yet. I'm fairly new to the yandere sim fandom and even the gameplay but I know enough lol

it makes me kinda sad that this game probably will never get finished, which means we wont be able to play the different endings. I really wanna do the pacifist route and see ayano actually get to know Senpai and win him over without killing anyone. It might also put the thought in the headmasters mind that Ayano isnt like her mother, and wouldn't actually kill anyone.

When Ryoba said that she would be going to America to track “him” down. She had to have been talking about the journalist from 1989 for revenge because he tried to get her arrested twice.

Some people here may more likely be "fantasizing" over the over-possessive love of Ryoba towards Jokichi, than actually romanticizing their relationship. This situation more or less serves as a catharsis. Not that I complain (cartharsis may be useful), but I also hope everyone here keep in mind that, as you say, all of this is fucked up and should definitely not happen in real life. As for Jokichi, he might not have Stockholm syndrome, since he has manifestly remained as aware as wary about his wife's excentric and unhealthy temperament, to the point that he implictly hopes that his own daughter Ayano will not end as Ryoba.

It's so weird how Ryoba kidnapped him and kept him with her and even made a family. It's crazy- I just love how he slowly started to love her but he also hates her.

I really hope Ayano doesn’t take the path her bloodline has done (brainwashing, mindbreaking, kidnapping, r*ping). Ayano’s dad truly cares about her and doesn’t want her to follow her mothers footsteps which I hope Ayano recognizes. Killing the rivals especially Osana and his sister will lead to Taro’s mental health going down severely. I hope Ayano eliminates her rivals in a non violent way like matchmaking. Which makes Senpai insecure and believe he’ll never be loved by a woman which is a perfect chance for Ayano to confess. Hopefully Ayano can be the moral Aishi and prove to next generations that you can win love without murder. I hope Ayano can make her father happy as well that her future boyfriend and her are in a healthy relationship.

@@xheom i dont think so..i mean at yandere 1980's mode you can see there that ayano's dad is just not ready to ryoba to be his girlfriend so he told Ryoba to just wait,then the 2nd confession is where he rejected ryoba,not because he doesnt like her,but because he is not just ready to take ryoba as his girlfriend.But at the first confession you can also notice there that some chemistry is between them,but Senpai is just not accepting her since all the girls who died were connected to him and he doesnt want ryoba to be one of the dead

i have my own theory on how yan-chan’s dad ended up so peaceful with ryoba (yan-chan’s mom).i think she broke him down enough mentally to the point when she could influence his opinions and thoughts to make him fall in love with her therefore justifying her actions to be with him in his mind. so he knows what she did but in his mind it makes sense why she did it.

Funfact: If he sees Ayano trying to romance a female Senpai, he may have a positive reaction, as it would mean seeing the end of the Aishi bloodline, which wouldn't be a negative thing in his eyes. However, he may strongly discourage the homosexual relationship. His conservative values come from traditional Japanese society, where homosexual relationships are considered to be a social taboo by many. If Ayano was in a heterosexual relationship with a male Senpai, Jokichi would worry about the nature of the relationship, and how it began. Still, I love the fact that he loves his daughter
