The only event that you can predict exactly whats going to happen at every point of the ride. The truly hard part would be commentating it and trying to make the 100th barrel ride seem exciting. Joey has the biggest challenge. 😄

To buy a day at the Kelly Slater Surf Ranch is $32,000, off-season rate (peak season is $50K). Surfers get 15 waves per hour during an 8-hour day to share. 120 waves in total, at $266 a wave, off peak, or $417 per wave, peak season.

Stupid to have a surf championship event at a fake surfing complex.

Boring waves, at least on the beach it is different even if it is the wind and the variation of landscapes.

Toledo is starting to get very boring now.. very generic and it not just in the wave pool.

Surf Ranch is the worst thing to happen to competitive surfing in many, many years. So predictable, So samey, so boooooring -,-

This is by far the most boring competition in the history of comps. It’s the only comp I don’t watch all year. Same wave, same turns, every time. It’s like the Monaco F1 GP of surfing. Absolute snooze fest
