Who's pulling the strings? Delivering the weapons? Why? We need to evolve to be better people. Not more destructive oppressors. We can get better but it's up to us to try instead of submitting to the powers that profit off of death and evil.

In case any one is wondering, the guy who is thinking about killing himself, his name is Kris "Tanto" Paronto. One of the survivers of Benghazi attacks on 9/11/2012 While filming this video he said he wasnt really acting, and alot of emotions came up with this video. Absolute hero and badass! Mad Respect

As a veteran and still serving, god bless you all that remains. We are all enduring a change right now that is awakening the public and veterans to what's transpired. Praises to Ollie. Been listening since my tour in Afghanistan in 2010, still my favorite band. I have all your records. I have resolutions to mend this country but struggle to gain a voice I hope you truly wish to help Americans and hear me out face to face. I need no recognition or payment. I love America and wish it a stronger posterity.
I really needed to hear this song right now. Thank you for making this song and raising awareness of the issues many veterans face.
Never noticed this song was about PTSD and had Tanto in it. This song now has a whole new meaning to it for me, amazing job and amazing song

Brother, I feel you on that.
why do people get mad when a group or singer manages to go mainstream. most artists would like to be loved by all and make millions rather than keep playing for the few thousand. it's not selling out. it's called wanting what they worked for.
@UltimateGamerCC
4 жыл бұрын
ppl dont want change, their sound changed so now fans are pissed, but it's evident that their original music wasnt doing all that much for the band, aside from wearing the vocalist's voice box out, and ppl dont seem to want their fave bands to care about the majority, or about the band affording to do this and still to pay the bills. real fans stick with them, regardless of the changes, fuck that "you're selling out" mentality that stupid ppl have, "we all got bills to pay bitch, enjoy the music or fuck off!" that's how i feel about it.
@Zellonous

@@UltimateGamerCC I mean. No one should have to listen to music they don't vibe with to be a "true fan". The whole true fan argument is retarded. That said artists shouldn't be expected to stay the same but don't cry if older fans don't like what they make anymore.
@UltimateGamerCC

@@Zellonous ok fine, but people should at least be respectful to a band they're fans of instead of shitting on them for it, bands can have many reasons for changing their sound and i dont think that they should be condemned for it, if it's not your thing fine.

@@shawnpayton9926 think about it this way they have seen people die in horrible ways and seen the suffering of others whilst risking their lives albeit not as much as Veterans but that would break someone, veterans have it way worse but still these people seen the horrible deaths of others and have to risk their lives to try and save as many as possible and will likely be haunted (not in a superstitious way) the rest of their days by those they couldn't save, veterans have it worse as they have to fight day after day whilst their friends and comrades are picked off like flies, they have to see the brutality of others and fight under usually overwhelming odds and surviving out of what is basically luck then come back to a society that treats them like trash but first responders also have it hard, just not as hard.

When people cry because they made a song about as heavy as "Two Weeks". This is why bands don't listen to their fans. Because they don't even know what they want. They make what they want.
Saw them with 5fdp was the best concert I've ever been to. This is my favorite band.
Great Song, Great Message, Great Band, Great People
As a child of a vet of the military, this song hits pretty hard. Especially spending my life around a military setting and hearing about any situations like this.
I love this song and video. I have literally been there. Gun to head, mental reflections, and then one of my beautiful baby girls come in and all of sudden it's alright. No matter what I have done or seen, it's okay knowing my girls and little boy are safe sound because brave men and women will serve and they have a daddy that will do unspeakable things to keep them safe. I've been a big fan of them from the beginning. I like this album. take it or leave it. it gets better each time I listen. powerful message. you may not like the way they've changed, but they are still who they have always been. they are making music to create a message. always been about the music, that's why they've changed
At first when the video started I thought my comp was taking a shit!!!! First thought "NO, MY MUSIC, WHAT WILL I DO"!!! Talk about panic---Hell Yes!!! 🖤🖤🤘🤘💯💯
Being someone who was part of the USN during 2008 and 2012 and seeing just how bad it was until I got out was concerning at times. Especially in Apr of 2011 when word got out that congress was going to take away half months pay (in full). Then people who wanted to stay in got kicked out while those that actually wanted out were staying in during the personnel cut around that time as well.
I just straight fell in love with this band

There's typically a reason why bands make songs with a message specifically targeting veterans and those that know some. Because they themselves have some sort of Military influence within the band or they are very strong supporters. In this case the former with Phil having spent some time in the Marines. So props to that, dude. On behalf of veterans everywhere, we're glad to know there's still people around that give half a shit.

It honestly took me a couple listen through of the entire album to actually say I do like it. Just gotta let go of what your expectations of this band are and you have a surprising decent album. Every album has been decent and anyone that says otherwise is stuck in the past and unwilling to try change. Its a good album but not their best.
