My introduction to the Star Wars movies is........ All 3 story arcs in ALL 9 movies will become the story of "The Skywalker Saga", including: *Story arc 1: Anakin's arc as the Prequel Star Wars Trilogy (Episode 1: The Phantom Menace (1999), Episode 2: Attack of the Clones (2002) and Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith (2005)) *Story arc 2: Luke's arc as the Original Star Wars Trilogy (Episode 4: A New Hope (1977), Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Episode 6: Return of the Jedi (1983)) *Story arc 3: Rey's arc as the Sequel Star Wars Trilogy (Episode 7: The Force Awakens (2015), Episode 8: The Last Jedi (2017) and Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)) They must be the chronological order of the Star Wars saga as travel back in time! And so, the story is now complete!

There is not many films produced and sequels 40 years later it was good at the time but obviously if you look at them now they're not up to much the trailers this is it's like the movie Dracula in the 1930s we wouldn't even look at it now but at the time it was a big hit

I paused it at 4:01 and started to feel uncomfortable because Luke was staring at me as I was reading comments😂

It’s amazing to think that the first line of the trailer for a new Hope was “Luke skywalker was just a farm boy whose life changed forever when he saw a message from a princess.” Who could of possibly guessed back then that in 42 years time a 9th Star Wars movie ( excluding the spinoffs) would be out and that Star Wars would be considered one of the biggest movie franchises ever.

70s and 80s trailers are so different

After a thousand generations the saga lives

I find it fascinating that they use so many clips that didn’t make it into the movie. Like Luke and Leia’s “romantic” kiss in Empire, Luke’s blue lightsaber, and Leia’s blaster clearly ejecting a shell in ROTJ. Different times

the same music in the beginning of attack of the clones trailer was the same music in return of the jedi when R2 was about to throw luke’s lightsaber.

honestly the rise of skywalker trailer is perfect, it has significantly less action than all the other trailers and less words as well. however the words used in the trailer mean so much more and the images used show family, friendships, love and courage, all what star wars is really about.

The original lightsaber was blue but it disappeared in the Tatooine sky so they changed it to green
