From a tough draw Mr Brightside did well to finish second...but it shaped up well for Pride of Jenni

I think jockey Craig Williams made huge mistake and setting far back and lost it very badly , jockey should be change on mr brightside in Australian cup 2024

How ? Wtf is he meant to do ? Push forward on a horse that doesn't go forward? Either way he rides it he will get shat on.. if he was barrier 5 he'd might be a chance

Rather he sat 3 wide better than 15 lengths behind the leader at the 800!!!

My opinion - I’ve always suspected that Mr B, Alligator Blood, Fangirl etc etc all these Aussie (I’m Aussie) horses winning the 1400/1600 & up to 2000 - are all very good genuine group 1 horses - but no champions. Just all very good. They looked better than they did because they got close to Romantic Warrior in the Cox - but clearly this wasn’t the best version of RW. POJ has completely exposed some of our mile horses. They can’t handle her pressure. POJ is not a champion - but she’s obviously better than what we have right now easily

Hopwfully we see more of this. Not the walk to the straight boring shit show Australia racing has become.

Definitely agree she is, but a bit far saying brightside can't touch her..Brightside was always a worry today with a wide gate and a hot tempo too get too far back in the field to get her but in a smaller field better barrier he could for sure imo

@@Damoscar12 so basically he wins as long as it suits him . Well shes run them all off there feet 4 times now . Broken there hearts by the last furlong . Smaller fields is about all Mr Brightside beats IMO .

@@raymond7451 if he only won as long as it suits him he wouldn't have such a good record and wouldn't have finished so well today. Just Jenni is a freak that has an advantage of early and high cruising speed to make own luck. Type of horses and racing style I love aswell
