no, spudnick’s is. imagine this. some monster comes to your universe, grabbing you as your guardians help you, but soon, you ongo a terrible fate, being teared of your inner soul and the others that you are holding soul to are dying too, and being skinned, being left as an unholy sight of a carcass. that, is nightmare fuel. and then, even after that, the process left 2 friends, smg1 and 2, almost dead, and having your universe destroyed.

Ranking all Character Deaths by how sad they were from Lowest to Highest -Clone Mario 5/10 Sorry OG SMG4 Fans, but I'm not one of y'all, I only started watching mid-2020, don't know anything about this guy. He's mid tier. -Spudnick 6.5/10 Okay, this really affected the SMGs but didn't really affect anyone else, so I can't place it much higher. (Also, this isn't a list about the most brutal.) -Niles 7/10 I mean, I know he was evil but his last moments were very dramatic. -Fred 7.5/10 SMG0 was sad about it, and I felt bad for him he didn't get much screen time before his demise. -Greg the Alien 8.5/10 I wish he had more screen time just like Fred. He had great potential. Also, I'm placing them here because of Mario. -Terrance 9/10 His sacrifice I think was honestly one of the saddest deaths I've seen. I think he had a Great Potential in the SMG4 Series. -Axol 9.5/10 R.I.P my favorite character. It was really sad seeing him so. His sacrifice was so sudden, I thought someone was going to die during the battle then Axol were to be saved. I didn't expect him to die just a few years after his first appearance. -Desti 10/10 Desti was one of the most saddest deaths, if not the saddest. Her Death was just so sudden, and I expected her and Meggy to fight in the Finale of Splatfest, blah blah blah. Yeah, I'm still upset about her death.

The saddest death had to be Axol’s because the one who loved Axol the most had to kill him…Melony, they were so attached and they were in a sort of relationship.

Axol and Terrance were legends who weren't afraid of death

That moment when Desti got stabbed, absolute silence! The emotion in that scene is fluctuating only by the character’s faces! I wasn’t watching SMG4 when this death happened, but looking back on it, this death scene alone makes me see why exactly Desti has been referenced so many times as a character missed by especially Meggy! If I had to say, this is my favorite death scene in all of SMG4… well, besides Axol of course!
