For first time shoppers I think it would help to have dresses with basic silhouettes just so the brides can see what shape they like, then go into fabric and details from there.

I’ve always thought this! They do it in clothes shops with all the variations of jeans. I would be so overwhelmed with choices that a silhouette guide would be an enormously useful tool.

The level of patience and professionnalism was unfathomable.😂❤❤

She seemed so lackadaisical and uninspired. She's the most unhappy bride I've seen.

The bride's attitude from the start made me dislike her. Randy and Ayana really have such patience.

If she didn’t want a bridal look, going to a regular formalwear boutique would give her a bigger variety.

When i got married i was in a zumba class with a bunch of my neighbors. One of them heard me talking about it and said she had a wedding dress in her closet with the tags still on it. It wasn't my size or my style. It was a plain A-line with a little beading. I accepted the generous gift and took it to the bridal shop for alterations. I told them that it was free but i really didn't like it....they asked me what i did like and i pointed to another bride wearing a mermaid with ruching and a corset back. They wrote it all down, told me to leave the dress with them. Long story short....i got my dream dress for less than $500! Custom just for me ❤

That's been hanging there for a decade, since no bride ever wants something, that's not even as beautiful as a prom dress. That groom seems such a fool to me.

I'm a briadal stylist and she actually wasnt that bad. It might be editing, but i don't think so. Every dress she (was shown) tried on was roughly similar. I *promise* that 'no' is miiiiles better than "i don't know". I've had brides who literally could not verbalize a single opinion about any aspect of a dress they *had on their body* even if I directly asked them a question. Do you like the lace? I don't know. Do you like the way it fits you? I don't know. Girl, do you even WANT a wedding dress??? ...Fill in the blank😂😭🍾

This episode is nearly 20 years old. Randy is all gray-haired now, and doesn't look anywhere near as young as he was in this clip, and the women's clothes are definitely from well over 15 years ago.

She is and I don’t know if I can deal with her.

When you can't articulate what you want, you don't go shopping and you do more homework, bringing photos with you that can illustrate what you can't verbalize. These people work on commission, it's their place of work, you don't waste their time. If you don't want bridal look, you don't go to bridal store - plenty of stores with lovely dresses that will cost way less just because they are not labeled as 'bridal wear'.

Exactly and if she did not want to go out, she could have just browsed online. She was just lazy. My classmate just wore a simple white satin dress for her wedding and it only costs her $100. She is happily married too. You don’t need to spend a fortune on your dress.

The photo of her in the green satin dress at the 1:46 mark gives a clue about her style. Her entourage knows her well and gave constructive feedback. Randy finally figured it out.

She really gave the impression like she didn't want to be there, didn't want a dress, and that something was up with her. It was making me think of Curvy Brides Boutique and that Jo and Al could have handled it better.

Jo and Al haven't done a show in a very long time, at least not since Al had bariatric surgery and lost a lot of weight several years ago. And who in America has the money to travel to England just for an expensive bunch of white fabric to wear for a measly few hours??? That's insanity!

Yes! My daughter & I went Prom dress shopping with screenshots of the exact dress she wanted to try on. We immediately found the dress in two sizes. She tried them on, picked the 👗 she felt comfortable in, and wasn't ready to take it off 🙂 She loved it so much that she kept it on while she helped a friend look for a dress ❤

Talk about MASSIVE patience! I wouldn't have been able to deal with her guessing game.

I can totally see a bride not knowing what she wants, but you have a bridal consultant for a reason. Trust them, try on the gowns they bring you and then you can start seeing what you like and don't like. Just saying no to all the dresses on the hanger is not helping the process.

I wasn't even in the room or building and she had me broke out in a sweat...I was getting so anxious, thought I was gonna have to take a nerve pill 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

She one of those people who can't put the work to make a descision but is quick enough to say no when you make the effort for her. Nightmare!

She’s doesn’t seem to be too happy about getting married….maybe she knows she shouldn’t be and can’t say no. So much sadness in this episode.

wow, Farrah seems depressed. Usually brides have been pouring over magazines or online for ideas for their gown. Glad she was open to suggestions. The consultant earned her commission on this one!

Does she really want to get married? Maybe? No? Randy and Ayana have the patience of Saints!!! I would have needed a Gin and Tonic after this one. But so glad she finally found a truly classic gown.

Her shape is devine, she could pull off any dress! Thankfully she knew what she wanted, an evening dress, not a typical wedding dress! And she looks amazing in it!

She strikes me as not having a clue what her options are vs trying to be difficult.

Wow I never knew of anybody that had no clue about wedding dresses. It might of helped her to look at books with wedding gowns. She was extremely picky. They did a great job of narrowing down what she might like!

I wasn't interested until I got engaged. Got some bridal magazines and looked at the styles. Went to some local shops alone to get a feel for my style. I tracked down a dress I loved in the mags, tried it on, and . . .yawn. Consultant brought in something I never would have picked and it looked good. You never know till you try.

I get the sense she wants to be married, but just isn't into weddings. But I may be projecting because that was the case with me. I got a very simple champagne colored dress that was technically a bridesmaid dress.

I don't know if this was all done for the show, but that bride did not look happy about any of the dresses or even being there. Not a good look for a bride!

Absolutely loved that beautiful simple elegant gown. So timeless and hugged her body so well🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

She just seemed so lethargic.

She probably did not care or just wanted to throw all of the burden onto the consultants as we can see here.

I love Randy slowly losing it during this appointment 😂

Tip for people asking OR questions: make the two suggestions actual opposites! “do you want shine or something with movement?” is a useless question! There are plenty of shiny-floaty fabrics. Do you want shine or matte? do you want firm or floaty? do you want plain or embellished? If you want her to make meaningful decisions, ask meaningful questions, you’re supposed to be the experts.

That's definitely true, but in this case she couldn't even answer yes or no questions, which is as basic as it gets. Do you like lace? I don't know. So I don't think it was an issue of what exactly they asked.

She has a lovely figure and going elegantly minimalist is gonna work for her! What a diva, tho. 😅

As a consultant she is my worst nightmare. 😂 brides often go with the opposite of what they want.

At least they all had a sense of humour to deal with the brides uncertainly, they could have a laugh

Randy's right when you put it on and it's right you know it.

It’s funny, most brides are like “I need more”, but she’s like “I want less”. But instead of saying “I want less” she said idk and No a hundred times til they got there lol

I ended up getting married without a wedding but I had wanted my mom to make me a simple A line dress very similar to a homecoming dress she made me. I wanted a crown of tulips on my head with a veil to be the "wow" of my dress

I understand her. On the day I ended up dress shopping, I was neither prepared or in the mood for it but in my case, I chose the first sample dress that remotely fit so I could move on.

I wish that she looked for inspiration before going. They can't do their job if you don't come in with at least an idea. If it doesn't pan out, at least they have a slight direction to go in.

That was me when I was 19. I just got here In California! I was on “I don’t know” diet for long time until my friend yelled at me and woke me up. lol!

When I got married I had NO IDEA what I wanted-I looked through all the dresses and picked what I liked.

Farrah is a pain in the neck.

A bride that has no CLUE as to what she wants is a bride who does not know who she is!! Listen….hold off on the marriage and take some genuine time developing yourself!!! You will be the better off in the long run.

How can anyone put up with this woman?

She sure is picky to only have a $2000 budget.

I kind of feel for her. I was disappointed by pretty much every wedding dress I tried on. I went to 4 different stores, brought different people with me, tried on a few dozen dresses, but finding anything that fit, was in my budget, and actually flattered was an uphill battle. The dress I ended up with was beautiful, but it wasn't some magical moment, it was kind of exhausting and it wasn't a process that left me feeling more confident.

I can't believe she only realized she liked the final dress when they put that hideous birdcage hat on her! What is it with birdcage hats? They are so ugly.
