It’s actually pretty messed up if you think more on the fact that, Shepherd wanted to keep this so under wraps he short handed the Shadows. If shepherd has planned a QRF in advance, even if it was more shadows, they could’ve actually had survived that fight When you think about it more that way, Graves and the rest of Shadow look more like they’re trying to right a wrong that isn’t really entirely their fault, but doing so by any means necessary which was their ultimate downfall

Even after what Graves and Shadow Company to Mexico SF AND TF141, I still like and respected them. After hearing Graves speak during the boss battle with the tank, i can understand where Graves is coming from. Him realizing that he didn't belong in the military and finding his true calling as a PMC/mercenary is very relatable. I just think Shepard is a bad influence on Graves and Shadow Company. What seperates between Shepard and Price is while both will break and bend rules in order to get the job done, the latter will only do so if he's convinced it's necessary, while the latter will do it juat to flex his own patriotic ego. That's why it makes no sense what Price did at the end of MW3.

graves could have been a deadly combo if he sided with Capt and Vaqueros, but he chose the wrong side

He was paid by his Employer, He didn’t have much of a choice he’s just a hired gun, He’s the C.E.O Of Shadow Company. General, Shepherd is probably his best source of income, Task Force 141 isn’t going to pay them
