There are three possibilities that I can surmise as of right now where Pyrrha could return, 1. Pyrrha is already able to come back as a spirit and that woman who spoke to Jaune was either her in a shapeshifter form or possibly one of her family members, 2. Pyrrha is going to get resurrected as some kind of human/Grimm hybrid not too dissimilar from Salem with no control over her actions, and 3. Pyrrha is going to have a new body created for herself when someone (hopefully Jaune) uses the Staff of Creation and her soul ends up entering the new body.

Ruby's reaction to Penny's true nature was very touching. It didn't matter to a kind soul like her whether Penny was a human, faunus, robot or anything else. She treated her like a person, and a dear friend.

Plus Cinder doest actually like care about her at all And most of that applies to Emerald as well. She's shown a strong distaste for the killing/destruction and could switch sides if Salem kills/betrays Cinder

I'm thinking about who to ship with who, and I'm betting that it's going to be either Ruby and Weiss or Ruby and Penny. I think Ruby and Jaune are just friends but they could end up together. But I was really sad that she didn't nap on Penny's shoulder

Pietro really cares for Penny like she were his own daughter. I know he was able to give her a repair job after her core was retrieved from Amity, but it must’ve nearly killed him when he saw her get torn to pieces like that. He’s really an amazing caring father and scientist.

Very true. Ladybug is definitely under appreciated, but the Blake manga has an amazing scene btw them where they share books and really wish we'd seen more of that in the main series. Books are what first bonded them and its never been brought up again. Ruby and Weiss are just so cute together, especially in v2 and v3. Weiss being a complete Tsundere was so cute Rose Garden makes a lot of sense. Oscar and Ruby were both basically thrown into huge positions of responsibility at a very young age. Ruby's also served as a sort of mentor to Oscar, helping him with his training and he certainly seemed enthralled by her when they first met. "you have silver eyes" Lancaster is ok. Not a huge fan of it, but they've def grown closer since v1, but it is anime 101 that the first person you meet at a new school is your soul mate, even if they just threw up on your sisters shoes Nuts & Dotls is of course adorable and really just shows some lightheartedness especially in this chaotic volume. Just loved seeing some straight up friendship btw 2 characters.

Honestly, I think the scene where Penny reveals herself to the group when they first get to Atlas is the Best scene in all of V7. I love that they paid enough attention to detail to truely capture all the emotions Ruby was feeling when she saw Penny again; Shock/Disbelief to pure confusion, to slightly weary, then totally off-guard/panicked, then utterly happy with confusion lacing her tone of voice when she speaks.

CRWBY did say they were ahead of things for the first time ever, but that it was also supposed to be their longest volume yet (i heard 20 episodes) This could mean that they'll be forced to cut down the episodes to a normal amount and rush much of what they had planned Don't think the animators or artists could do much from home (assuming their programs are on their work computers at work), but it gives the writers and artists a chance to step back and rethink and improve on the story/battles/scenes, allowing them to make it even better

I absolutely love Penny! She's bright and cheery without being annoying about it.

With Penny being the new Maiden of Winter, this can only mean that RWBY, JNP(enny)R, Oscar and the others will HAVE to seek out Raven. She's the only one who can teach Penny about her powers and how to use them to full effect. Everyone might not agree with this but she is the only other maiden that YANG would know since she saw Raven standing where Cinder was not.

I think the reason Pietro can't walk and why he coughs so much is because he gave Penny apart of his aura. Because when you look at him when his aura flashed, it was empty in two spots, and those two spots were on his legs.

@@misskoralie i Really doubt ironwood is gonna stay in control. my personal theory is that he's gonna steal the ace ops auras to become strong enough to beat salem. Doubt winter will follow him much longer, esp once she finds out that he "killed" oscar. After the dust has cleared, I'm guessing Atlas will be under the command of Robyn and Winter. Def gonna be some self doubt with Penny next volume, but her arc this one was about learning to do what's right, so I'm sure she'll stay by team RWBY's side for now. And hopefully won't sacrifice herself to save them

Why is Nuts n Dolts so underrated???

Penny considering everyone a friend was actually something from way back S-1 in their first encounter with Penny, Ruby calls her "a friend" she is overjoyed by being considered friend.I think her comrade ship continued to grow since then. Penny is also made to be the guardian of the citizens seeking only peace and to protect. It's part of her personality.

@@Justking True...if they really meant to do that. I would love for CRWBY to invest in that type of character development but due to the writers track record, Winter will either disappear or become a "side side" character...or a lesbian. I honestly think Penny was revived for the sole purpose of unnecessary shock factor: Penny being alive, Penny being accused of man slaughter, the doctor giving his aura to Penny, and Penny yeeting the maiden powers from Winter. Most of Penny's moments were really crappy "twists".

@@momoprime4797 Winters definitely gonna be a big part of the next volume. She's chosen to stay by Ironwood's side even against her own sister, but her reaction to learning Ironwood killed Oscar and his continued mental breakdown could lead to her betraying him and taking over Atlas, in a sense forging a new unexpected destiny for herself. Could also see her breaking Qrow out of jail, though him being a bird makes it kinda hard to imprison him

Not going to lie i was and this spoilers i almost cried when penny was made human and the other part that got me was when she actually saw her robotic body with the virus and it actually scared her a little bit. And the hugging CUTEST THING EVER
