@Alberte Martinsen yeah lol, In wof logic for how hybrids look… If the mother of the hybrid is a rainwing, the hybrids body structure would look that of a rainwing. (And probably have more rainwing features like a curly tail and frills) If the father of the hybrid is a nightwing, it will have a few features. Like stars on the wings and some white teardrop scales. So basically the mother gives most of the genes to the child hybrid and the father gives some

I really like the Sand - Rain hybrid, it’s colors kinda remind be of Aztec culture and old pottery, and I love it!

The mud - rain wing hybrid looks like the stereotypical sea monster lollll,but my favorite hybrids MUST be the sea hybrids,

I 100% agree. But my absolute FAVORITE hybrids have to be: Dom: Seawing Half: Nightwing, Dom: Icewing Half: Seawing, and Dom: Rainwing Half: Seawing.

@@spikeweed420 OMG IKR? I actually have an oc that's a sea-night wing that lives off the coast of the night wing islands,basically in the deep water and the hybrid looks like a deep sea dragon which is perfect!!

The sky-sand looks so pretty, I’m absolutely making that my first OC.

my personal favorite was probably the seawing line. the colours of the half rainwing's bioluminescence being multicoloured is really cool, as well as the fact you can literally be a gamer dragon. also the pinks and purples of the half skywing and nightwing is very nice

I personally really enjoy the skywing hybrids, something about them just looks so appealing to me :]] maybe I just like long characters

The Sky-Night was so pretty! Can't wait to make a handfull of ocs!

i loved the work with the hybrid modes but i felt like all the dragons that were part rain wing (except the sea wing and night wing) were a bit too much rain wing it was like you put rain wing scales on a sand wing body it just felt a bit off to me .when i try to draw a hybrid i try in incorporate stuff like different wings and scales that incorporate both dragon tribes like so maybe with the rain wings stick to a bright base color then incorporate scale designs from the other dragon so it's balances. because the other tribe is dominate i think you should try and keep the scales but then change the color to a bright rain wing color kind of similar to the other tribe. then add stuff like frills. this is just my opinion i don't mean to hate

@@lil1_8u57 again this is just my opinion I’m not hating I love the designs and think they are beautiful. And I know that every dragon is different but If you look at it from the science that Tui put for the dragons there is dominate parts to a hybrid because Tui confirmed that dragons get dominate dna from their mother and it shows in the dangerous gift (book 14) it gave us A ton of hybrid examples in one chapter like snowfall see’s a big bulky brow dragon with flecks of blue here and there and with patches of it along there spine with the sea wing frills instead of spikes. That is what I’m talking about it was a mud wing sea wing hybrid that was most likely to have dominate mud wing dna. Because the mudwing traits were dominant the sea wings traits were here and there. That was my Ted talk :>

I found most (dominant) SeaWing hybrids were really beautiful

My favorite is probably the Dominant:NightWing Half:RainWing I already have an OC fixed for it: (This was before the Flames of Hope events happened) Moonglancer wrapped the cloth closer to him as strange bug-looking dragons glanced at him with curious eyes.Talonholder would have as many questions as he had:who were these dragons?Why did they look like that?Why are all of them wearing such fashionable clothing?Was it their culture?The thoughts were endless.He accidentally bumped into one of the strange bug dragons.They both collapsed on the floor.Moonglancer heard something clatter on the floor as they bumped into each other.”Ow...hey!Who do you think you are?You know that hurt,actually”The bug dragon asked.Moonglancer quickly sat up,rubbing his head.”Oh-I’m sorry!I wasn’t looking where I was going..and I-“He stopped short as he realized his brown cloak slid off him,now splayed out on the floor.Now eyes watched him,a few dragonet bug dragons gasped and pointed to him.The bug dragon reached out,”What are you?”She questioned.”I’m...a....”Moonglancer grabbed his cloak and bounded away,not wanting anyone to throw him in a prison-or worse.He wondered if he should stop and help the bug dragon he bumped in to- pick whatever fell on the floor.But nervousness won over his kindness.A voice screamed in his head:𝑮𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆!𝑫𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒆𝒍𝒔𝒆;𝒇𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇!He bolted for the giant door he came in by,at the same time he tried to throw the cloak back over his back to hide most of his identity.Moonglancer couldn’t help but risk a glance back.Nobody but the bug dragon he bumped into was following him.Well,that was good,on his part,at least.One of the bug dragons that he guessed was a guard stopped him from going out the door.Moonglancer quickly skidded to a stop on the slippery floor,scrambling to catch himself as he almost tripped over his talons.”What are you?”the guard demanded.”I-well-uhm...personal info?”Moonglancer stammered,struggling to wave the cloak over his back.”Nobody plays games here,even if this is Jewel Hive,we aren’t always partying and having fun”the guard growled menacingly.The female bug dragon guard rested a talon on his shoulder,”Antlion,don’t be so cruel;he didn’t mean to”She softly said,giving Moonglancer a side smile.”Still,Cochineal,he’s strange and disrespectful”the dragon named Antlion snapped.”They didn’t mean to”the she dragon replied calmly.Antlion growled in response,glaring at Moonglancer.The other bug dragon halted to a stop,”Sorry!This is my partner in my science project.Cadelle,come on,let’s go back to the project”she led him over to a room and quickly shut the door behind them.”You’re so cool!”She breathed.”You-why-I am?”Moonglancer asked.The dragon spread his wings out in astonishment,”Woah!You’re so colorful!”She remarked gleefully.”Uh-thanks...I’m a hybrid”He awkwardly said,pulling his wings back to his side after she was done examining him.”Woah!Really?What kind are you?LeafWing,SilkWing,and HiveWing?!”She gasped.”What’s that?Anyways,no.I’m a hybrid of a NightWing Rainwing,the NightWing gene being the dominant gene”he explained rather calmly.”Cool!Those are tribes?I didn’t know;I’d never know with all of the useless books around here”she sighed.”I’m Gradshopper.I know,common name”she chuckled.”Hi.I’m Moonglancer”he smiled.”Welcome,Moonglancer,to Jewel Hive.Where there are mostly brainless HiveWings -even without the mind control/that focus their lives on parties and looking glamorous”she awkwardly smiled.”Although,of course,I don’t have mind control anymore!I’m not sure if my mother fed me a plant to stop it,but it worked,I guess!”Grasshopper ranted on.”Wait-Mind control?”Moonglancer asked.A slithering voice sounded outside of the room:”𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆٫𝒐' 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒅𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒐𝒏" Now this was a cut out part of Moonglancer’s story,need I remind you of something I never mentioned *totally sane chuckle* Well,that’s who I plan to make in game!But if I can,I’ll probably put his base color black because that’s how he looks and maybe(if I can)I’ll change the frills into red,orange,green(missing yellow because idk-that’s his design)hope you enjoyed the short story!

Will there be tribrids? I know that would be a LOT of work, since there are so many possibilities, but I'd love to know. Also...what if for hybrids you could choose certain parts? Like for an IceWing/RainWing hybrid it could look like an IceWing just with a RainWing frill? I'm not expecting any of this to happen because that's so much work, and this game already has a ton of work but these are just some hopes/ideas I have. :)

Thats really cool! It must be so hard putting 100 Morphs in the game, and having to work on even more. my problem is even if its a gamepass, there will STILL be an over population of the hybrids. since many people like roleplaying in the current wings of fire game on roblox, that would make lots of them move to this game just for the hybrids. Im hoping the gamepass for all of them or one certain tribe, like ex: Sandwing Hybrids, the singular pass for the singular tribe would be about 400 more and if they dont do it singularly, possibly 1,000+ for all of the tribes.

They will be having all hybrids be one gamepass. They do this because you can only have 10 gamepasses per game so it’s take up all the slots. So they will have all of the hybrids be one gamepass that will cost somewhere around 1000 robux.

The Sea/Sand reminds me of a hydra, it looks so cool! Can’t wait for the game to release!

The sky-sand hybrid is amazing. Other than that, all of the sands and ices were beautiful. So exited for these to drop! ❤

Rain-Night and Rain-Ice is so beautiful I love it so much!!! I can’t wait until the game is out. Sand-sea is also adorable, i love how happy it looks, and sand-night with the red sky like wings. The sea-rain is also lovely, I also love the sea-night and sea-sky AND sea-ice its so pretty…. The night-sand is funny looking but i have a soft spot, i also love the night-mud and night-sky. The sky-sea is lovely the slight details are amazing, the sky-rain sort of just looks like a normal rain wing, I LOVE THE SKY-SAND. My favourite of all of them… SKY-ICE!!! The ice-sea is beautiful it looks regal or elegant like a leader. The Ice-mud also is derpy and cute, I would DEFIANTLY play as it!!!! ^^

Wow, I can’t imagine the time it would take to model all these hybrids! It’s so cool that people will be able to play as all of these (though it would be a bit unrealistic if everyone were a hybrid...)

My WoF OC is a HiveWing/SeaWing hybrid, so I CANNOT wait to see that combination set in 3D!!

I don't like how even when the rainwing or any other slender tribes are mixed with the bulkier bois, it doesn't give any more bulk making the models look like they have just the accessories of other tribes

these are cool but one thing that really bothers me is how most of them have the color palette of the recessive tribe just from what we've seen of hybrids in the books, the dragons have the base shape AND colors of their mother's tribe with slight alterations from the father's tribe

All the other hybrids: Model of the dom, colors of the half SandWing/NightWing hybrid: HAHA SUNNY GO BRRRR

My fave is 100% night-rain it looks so good!

I noticed that a lot of the hybrids could pass off as just one tribe, the dom Seawings stuck out the most to me bc ones like the Sea/Sky and Sea/mud really just had some different dorsal spine placement and patterns that if colored like a seawing could really just pass off as one that just looks a little unique. There's also the Sky/Rain and Sky/Sand that look so much like the secondary tribe that they could be passed off as them just with a different body type and the Sky/Mud is just a skywing with some odd spikes. Im not creticing this tho some of the hybids you just cant tell their hybrids besides a color change which is a problem but I do want to bring up the fact that this could be used for unintended extra customization. Say you have a rainwing oc that you want bulkier, hop on over to the sky/rain and go make it on that model or you have seawing that you want some more interesting patterns on, well grab that sea/sky and go make it. There are so many reasons that you could use one of these hybrid models instead of the normal ones and that could lead to some pretty cool ocs.
