Don't know specifically if the trigger needs to be fully reset in order for the first round to fire but he was literally pulling the trigger as the charging handle rammed forward so if safety wasn't on looks like an ND to me lmao.

You forgot one… The “reload cancel” when you reload too soon and another enemy comes around the corner so you press Y twice to swap and immediately swap back

Also he forgot the ‘quick switch’ one, in CS:GO you can just make your character shove the mag out, shove the mag in and quickly switch to your knife and then back to your weapon.

This is probably the holy grail for a game dev out there. Reloads in videogames are almost an art and this vid just shows all the references needed to make amazing reloads lol.

Love the lack of trigger discipline on the Rookie reload, very acute detail.

5:27 Thing is, the actual traditional way of an AK reload is from reload the magazine from the right side, holding the gun with the left hand and then also load in the bullet with the right hand. That's the traditional, Soviet Russian way, how Kalasnyikov originally intended.

The quiet one reminded me of when I go hunting. Taking the safety off of your rifle while a huge 12 point is in your view is so nerve racking. Also being able to life and rest the gun against the wall of the shoot house quietly is also scary. Really cool video man.

I don't know why, but in Pavlov I'm stuck having my pinkies up, it's quite hilarious to see yourself hold everything like if it was a tea cup. especially when reloading rifles.

The blue m4 sounds like a cheap plastic, likely 20 bucks or so. I would wager that it's spring fed based on the sound, as well. You used to be able to buy the blue m4 style airsoft guns in places like Walmart but not really anymore. You can get some cheap bb guns on Amazon, but you could also Google some online stores that would ship the good stuff to you. Keep in mind the price range you are looking for in terms of what your gonna get. Less than $100 (U.S.) will get you spring fed and plastic made stuff to various levels of quality. Up to $200 can get you full metal body (pretty weighty stuff) but loads really realistically like a real gun and even looks the part Then there's $500 and up and you can get some crazy good stuff, bordering on realistic firearms in terms of functionality and look. If all you wanna do is play with it and do reloads... stick to the cheap stuff. Amazon can get ya covered

The fact that you replicated the godawful original CounterStrike reload animation where the gun model is mirrored and they yank on the forward assist really made my week. That was _above and beyond._ 😂 Christ, that game was in a _state_ back in the day! Stuff like that is why I spent a fair bit of the past two decades laughing at the people who call CS 'realistic'.

Fact: CS M4 reloads before CSGO do not pull the charging handle, they use the forward assist which does not chamber a round.

I like this video, very good reloads, so satisfying to see them, the sounds and all of the other stuff. I wanted to se someone reload a mag as fast as they reload in DayZ, but I guess it's not possible, spring pressure, you know.

From hat I’m seeing probably a 30$ spring one. If you hear closely it sounds like it the spring shaking which on one of my “ airsoft “ guns have that sound like that

Imagine if games allowed to choose a reload style each with its own speed, style and jam chance

I love the mag flick reloads (aka the reloads that flick the mag out of the chamber)

COD reloads are always fun to look at, especially in the Modern Warfare series as well as the newer Cold War and Vanguard ones. Stinky almost made me cry. I laughed way too hard at a single fart sound.
