A "title track" isn't the first track on the album, it's a track that shares its name with the album.

I like your taste in music and enjoy all your rankings! I’m 46 years old, learning new facts from you and appreciate your opinions. REM Document was one of my first music purchases, and I had a friend in school who gave me Selling England by the Pound and Farewell to Kings as a gift- what a gift. I’ve recently gotten into early Kate Bush and very surprised how good it is, especially her 4th album: The Dreaming. She also used the Fairlight CMI in that and her previous album. I read that she learned from Peter Gabriel a technique of constructing songs around a source drum track. Whose works will you rank next?

Kate Bush’s voice in Don’t Give Up usually brings tears. Listen to Talking Heads 1st two albums. Looking forward to Radiohead; love Paranoid Android, don’t like Creep.

I ll try the last temptation ost when in a certain state. : P. I like the movie a lot. It's epic and impactful when a tune plays during the credits. PG seems like a good man to look up to. Like how a lot of his songs kind of deal with insecurity or a wariness of group think. Inspiring.

At the time Us came out, it seemed to me that the record execs wanted it to be So Part 2, or at least sell like it. I remember seeing the Steam video constantly on MTV. It was obvious that they wanted it to be another Sledgehammer.

Sure, the effects are dated, but they were state of the art then, it was a fun video and a funny one and an artifact from a bygone era when videos were creative. @@DancingwithGhosts

I can't argue with the placement of "III" (my favorite) or "So," although I'd put "II" a bit higher. Also, the fact that Wikipedia lists "This Is the Picture" as a bonus track is a little misleading. I think it was always meant to be on the album but due to vinyl limitations they just threw it on the cassette and CD versions, which was a fairly common practice when CDs first came to prominence. Laurie Anderson also released her own version on her "Mister Heartbreak" album in 1984. Personally, it's a favorite track of mine, but I can see some people thinking it's too weird. On that note, I do think closing the album with "In Your Eyes" makes a lot more sense. I'm glad PG moved it in the digital age.

@@Ghoulstille in my honest opinion (no offense) they're just so bland, but this is coming from someone who doesn't really like anything ''blues based'' (but what about pink floyd?), yes but pink floyd evolved and by the time i liked them they weren't very bluesy
