"The Greatest Story Ever Told", many who havent watched find that hard to believe, but this anime makes you feel all the emotions, i've never felt as much emotion watching anime as i have for watching One Piece. this show has something for everybody, and it will hook you as long as you give it the chance to, 1000+ episodes feels way shorter than it is.

The show itself isnt but Netix and many other streaming sights do splut the arcs up in seasons. Those who are watching on Netflix casually wont recognise the difference because of netflixes need for everything to work in seasons

Technically there are no seasons of One Piece instead they are broken up into arcs, the latest arc was Wano which was *195 episodes* and had 4 different openings. We are is the main theme, the second time is the 5th anniversary sung by the Strawhat Crew voice actors. Every time you hear that song it either for a anniversary or Luffy is about to blow someone's completely out lol. Luffy is 19 yrs old currently. My favorite opening is "The Peak" by SAKAI NO OWARI because it's linked to a very important moment for Luffy

in one piece there isnt really seasons they are always on the same journey so the openings go according to the places they go to its confusing but you will get used to it when watching 😅

The second remix of we are, are the voice actors, thats the point, its special, they bring life to the show with his voices

The second "We Are" was a milestone celebration of some amount of years airing. It only plays for about 4 or 5 episodes in the middle of an awesome arc, bringing it to a screeching halt until the manga gets a few chapters ahead again while the episodes with that opening show abridged versions of backstories of the Straw Hat crew. Though you would already know them before said summary anyway.

the episode 1000 special opening(3rd from the last) that uses We Are! again has a lot of new scenes that were not in the very 1st opening. And one big difference you should notice is the ep 1000 opening has a lot of new members who weren't even introduced during opening 1 era. You should watch a comparison video later.

Like the voice actors singing in character wich is so cool, or re-animating the opening but with updated characters and animation. There’s a difference between a show having original characters that are that way compared to shows changing established characters that have been around for a long time to pander to certain groups.

You had it right the first time. Wit Studios is remaking One Piece. It's going to fix the pacing, but who knows what the art style will look like. One Piece goes threw several art styles. We're getting a new one this weekend.

There isn't such thing as a season for One Piece. Mostly because when it came time to adapt it to anime, the bigshots there assumed it wouldn't last long, so they had a contract signed that gave it a weekly run as opposed to a set amount of yearly episodes. Oda has worked SO HARD that its a miracle that he's ONLY NOW experiencing the slightest hint of health complications from having a mangaka career.

@@DollarBoiEnt Yes. It was pretty good. Some people can't get over the differences, but I prefer to think of it as an alternate universe. Heck,Oda has made at least 25 other One Piece universes, including one where they are in a JRPG, one where they are mob bosses, one where they are mythical monsters, and even one where the entire cast are trapped in a slice of life style of instant ramen commercials called Hungry Days(but they are SUPER spoilery). There IS one problem with it, though. It spoils a certain character WAY too early. And it was something they begged and pleaded with Oda about before he finally relented, who DID NOT like the idea, and retained most of the creative control, which mad the LA good.

@@DollarBoiEnt It's fun when people watch the live-action first I think. At least in reaction videos. They have something to compare it to, and how the original characters and story actually are and compare them. To be fair, the manga is the original, but the anime is pretty damn close. The anime did some censoring and has some pacing differences(sadly). But the characters are the same, and the story follows extremely close. The live-action has a similar vibe to how One Piece vibe is, with a more realistic take, but overall it's pretty different.

Bro was saying where's Buggy whens he's been in most openings, and I almost died when he didnt recongnize Sanji who's been in every opening. Its also a shame you didnt like majority of the songs, but I guess its harder to enjoy something with little to no context about it so its fair.
