@the89rock Rohit has had a poor stint in international cricket in the last 2 years. He doesn't deserve to be in the WC squad. But that doesn't mean Hardik deserves it. He has barely done anything in his entire career barring a handful of matches.

Blind, blind, blind hate towards Hardik! Rohit is nearing retirement, MI needed to find a successor. If youre going to shower such blind hate on the successor, as a fanbase you've all just failed the team. Hardik captained GT to 2 incredible IPL finals back to back and he ofcourse wanted to further his captaincy career. But you all MI fanbase, I dont know what happens in your brain, but to create this Rohit vs Hardik controversy, and ofcourse Rohit got his team lobby, meanwhile Pandya suffering extreme mental breakdowns due to being isolated eveywhere. "Rohit k bina tum MI waalo k aukaat dikha jayega"

I think its the way MI management handled it. Even Dhoni is nearing retirement but Chennai fans are warming up to ruturaj. Jadeja never got this amount of boos last year when he became captain for few matches. He at least didnt have attitude and was always loyal to the franchise, but it didnt work out. On the other hand people look at Hardik as a grifter who moved franchises and all of a sudden takes away the captaincy from not only Rohit, but also SKY, bumrah etc. So its not just about Rohit retiring and trying to find a replacement. its about how you handle it. SRH management also did warner bad couple of seasons ago.
