Simulation (FEA) - The structural tool used to understand stresses, strains, factor of safety, vibrations, fatigue, and thermal. Uses FEA or finite element analysis.
Flow Simulation(CFD) - The flow or heat transfer tool used to perform fluid flow through or around things as well as heat transfer.
