You should totally try to read Shakespeare's Macbeth. It's my fave of his works, personally. It's one of his plays that really holds your attention, and Lady Macbeth's character is quite good! It has witches, that's where "Double double toil and trouble" comes from!

I’ve also been left on read for the Paul Tremblay book! 😂 I read Don’t Let The Forest In last month. I don’t always love YA horror, but this one was fantastic. So descriptive and honestly some graphic scenes. I loved it.

You have so many great books on your NetGalley shelf! I wish I could balance the reviewing with everything else to actually create a bookshelf for myself 😂 You do such a great job at finding the latest, most interesting books 😍 I am so fascinated by Withered, American Rapture (although idk if it’s gonna be for me based on the type of horror), and Don’t let the forest in. Oh is the conversion camp book that you didn’t like Camp Damascus? I loved the first half and then it had major pacing issues for me for the rest of it.

It is soooo hard to find the balance!! Obviously I'm failing at it lol. Yeah I'm not sure on the themes for american rapture but I'll give it a fair shot. Yes it was Camp damascus 🫣 it started off so strong but teetered off for me very fast between the character and turn it took. so hoping cuckoo does it for me 🤞🏻

I'm currently relying mostly on audiobooks with the move. Yeah idk if american rapture will be it for me either but I'll give it a fair shot. Loved seeing these. I got Netgalley at the beginning of the year and didn't fully realize how things worked. I fell behind on finishing so many books before their publication date 😅I think I have 12 on my shelf and just haven't had the time to fit them in

I want to read A Botanical Daughter so badly. Literally just read The Night Guest last night. It was certainly a book. I thought American Rapture was fantastic, but I also loved Maeve Fly lol. Very different stories, so I hope it works for you! Sadly I was denied Horror Movie (and Lady Macbeth actually lol), but I have it on my Libby hold list! 📼 A Dark and Drowning Tide. I know I read it but I don't remember much. Oooh Honeycomb sounds interesting. I hadn't heard of that one. Hahahahaha "it was certainly a book" 💀 I'm so nervous for american rapture bc the whole religious thing is also not my favorite theme. But I will give it a fair shot! I heard a lot of people got denied for horror movie? Apparently the publisher is picky but idk what that means or if it's true lol. I was surprised I got approved for honeycomb bc my ratio is not good 😅 The new brom is on my list for the Q3 release video for next week! I cannot wait for it 😍 but I'm just going to buy for the artwork that I'm assuming is in it. I still have yet to read larocca 🫣 idk whyyyy, their work sounds amazing to me. I just suck at picking up short stories

I also have Cuckoo and American Rapture on netgalley, I'm really trying to fit in Cuckoo soon since it recently released and it archives soon lol. Looking forward to your thoughts on American Rapture because I also didn't love Maeve Fly

It is so easy to get overwhelmed on netgalley. I didn't know what I was doing at first, and I have a lot of old things on there, that I wish you could just delete. American rapture is nothing like maeve fly, if that helps. It does have a LOT of commentary on religion/religious guilt
