Proper term for 3:48 is *Tiller Truck* or tractor-drawn aerial (TDA). Inspiration for 13:55 was not by Siemens, but another German company, Windhoff, and employed primarily in Switzerland: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%C3%B6sch-_und_Rettungszug (Also obviously I meant to say two _Scandanavian_ countries, but that's still wrong as just noted.) Hopefully some folks can enjoy looking at some LEGO the way I like to, without solely obsessing over semantics. A lot of people miss a lot of metaphorical forests for the trees, leaves, and even individual cells 😂

The train is very recognizable. I see them a lot here in switzerland. They are called "SBB LRZ" here and are mainly used for hazards in tunnels. You do a great job👍

You build the bike as a joke BUT you didn't know that there's a voluntary fire department here in Germany that does have a fire bicycle. They made it as a joke but it is real. There is also a video of it. It's called: "Das! Die Feuerwehr von Plötz TV" and it's uploaded by Ralf Werle, if you're interested. Sadly there are no subtitles available on the Video, so you probably won't understand most of it but it's still a funny video.

Amazing job as always. Whoah you always have so many cool pieces in good colors. Love the boat and train. And sub! watch out for flammable water! You said "a couple of Norwegian countries" which can be actually true: did you know that there are as many 'Norwegian' (Norwegian-origins) folks in the US as in Norway? over 4 million per "Norwegian country":)

For not basing yours specifically off of stuff, you have a pretty solid line-up man. I've always admired your creativity and knack for this kind of stuff. Thanks for making a video of them, and keep on building!
I'm an enormous fan of you taking creative liberties with your builds - That's what LEGO is supposed to be for! It's a pretty inspiring mix of self-inspired pseudo-science, and a bit of reality. It looks like Fun, and that's what LEGO builds need to be above everything else!
Fire's underwater are real things. there are many substances that create there own oxygen when they burn so they would be able to burn underwater. They are extremely rare but they are a thing.

My ambulance has doors inspired by Jang's second ambulance! A lot more American, though.
Cool! BTW, the Fire Fighting train (specifically designed, and the inspiration for your design) is apparently Swiss, as they have quite a few (long) railway tunnels through the Alps. They also exist in the US and Russia, though there they are more like (slightly) modified tanker cars, pulled by a regular engine and with a passenger car/caboose to transport personnel.

I love the van!
Happy to see jang city is ready for magnesium fires in the depths!
Fire Spaceship? You know...for space fires.
It's interesting to think, that building your own stuff, which I haven't done in years, once was Legos core-premise and I totally love the fire train you build! I hope Lego will some day return to modelling trains themselves regularly, because I do think a lot of people miss the old days.
This was like a trip down memory lane. I remember all the original videos for these.
Great Vehicles! Nice work. Love the fire bike!
Way prefer custom builds over the sets and set reviews. Thank you!
The Fire Sub can be easily used as a smaller water craft (able to reach areas that the larger boats can't) and for underwater sea-labs that 80's cartoons TOTALLY predicted would boom over the last few decades. ;)
ALL of these MOCs are excellent, but the train is my favourite. I'm a former fire department chaplain (so I have a soft spot in my heart for fire fighters) and I'm a third-generation train enthusiast. This train is completely believable, but not just for Scandinavian tunnels. You could also see one in remote areas to fight brush fires. May I make one small suggestion? Would it be possible to turn one of the units 180 degrees? That would make it possible to run the train in either direction. Thanks for all you do. I appreciate your creativity.
I like the fire submarine, it boggles my mind and love it.
That sub is for rescue under water. No need to complicate.
I love your humbleness towards other builders
For the hazmat van, the military uses cameras like that for their CBRN equipment.
I don’t know what I love about them, but Lego fire trucks especially have something about them that I love. I’ve recently deconstructed many Lego vehicles (and bought thousands and thousands of Lego bricks) to build a designing Lego studio but along with some other special sets I cannot break down my Lego fire sets
Now those fire trucks are quite cool, even if some of them may need a little modifications, I mentioned this before, but I do like fire related vehicles, it's really neat to see what people can come up in their own Lego cities when it comes to fire prevention vehicles and such, not just fire truck, but fire boats, planes and helicopters, even submarines! LOL I also like your custom fire station in your city, Jang.
I still really like your hazardous materials truck. Has a classic town to 2005 era feel with the classic colours. The opening top is great too.
I have an idea to use the fire mech truck! Have a large fire in your city and explain it as needing other cities’ fire departments to come and help out!
Really awesome Jang! You are such an influence to the LEGO community! I’m very glad to see a MOC video from you! It has been a while with all of the new sets! I love the train especially! I love any trains in general! Looks great!
It gets used very rarely, but BNSF has done a fire train for use in the Washington and Idaho state areas. You should see if you can make railroad snow fighting equipment. A V blade wouldn't be too impossible.
You should put the fire mech truck on display in your city as a retro fire truck. Like how 1905 ish fire trucks are kept in real life, so on a stand in front of you fire station or in the middle of a park, or used in parades.
I really like what you said about not trying to recreate real life! I think it's a wonderful philosophy to make your LEGO world a possibility for getting away from the real world. And additionally, it allows you to create some really cool and fantastical (as in full-of-fantasy) designs! I think that is so important! I really like the yellow and white van with the hatch in the top! Very cool and reminds me a lot of the Danish ambulances actually! Thanks for sharing your creativity and keep up the good work :-)
All the fire vehicals look really good for someone who does not really know what fire trucks look like
Hi jang i am part of the lego fire comnunity, and i can say that i love your vehicles station etc. You dont need to know what everything is called or how it works. Lego is made for your imagination. You have made fire vehicles. I recognise them from your videos. Keep up the great work on the city.
for the underwater fire sub, I thought it was silly of course but then I thought about and water fires do exist because or oil, or gas catches fire and the water can't do anything. and please like for the 10 minutes I thought about this.
@mccarthyplays102

there ya go
There are chemicals that burn hot enough to stay alight underwater, so if those are common enough, a fire sub may come in handy.
That last truck is awesome, really beautiful!
These look great. They don't have to be accurate to real life to look good, because imagination is key with Lego. Ever thought about making the squad truck from the TV show Emergency?

Love this kind of video! Glad you made it and look forward to seeing more MOC collections of yours. Also, the Lego Movie mech that you made into a firetruck - that could be a neighboring city's, in universe, that is just passing through, or visiting your city's FD for a meeting. :)
You inspire me greatly with your MOCS. Great work.👍
Happy to hear you will get back to work on your city! I sure hope we’ll get to see lots of progress on that before next review season.
You should try recycling the old vehicles to create newer FD vehicles. Maybe a drone storage compartment extension?
I love the chrome nozzles on the fire train!
wow jang this was a pleasant surprise! I really love this style of video and perhaps we could get more for varoius other sectors of your city! Police should be next. (although your police hq is in dire need of an upgrade lol)

The submarine you created could very well be used for checking around for oil spills and work along side fire boats or an oil rig
Excellent! Thank you for showing us these throwbacks!
Fire bikes are the best idea in a long time.
As a custom Lego fire truck builder, these are very nice. Some very interesting techniques, ideas, and colors that I may adopt in the near future. Very well done, JANG! EDIT: Have you thought about using third-party pin striping (for cars) for adding/continuing stripes in your MOC's?

I remember thinking it at the time, when you did the fire train, I really wished to see the crew cab unit connected at the other end of the tanker, so there are window in each direction. just thought it would look more rounded. the fire train, fire station and a MOC of a blue shunter were the first vids of yours I ever saw
These look really good I have a question are we going to get a city update anytime soon?

Thanks for sharing Jang. Fire fighting Lego sets have been a favorite personally for as long as I can remember. I like colour/liveries from this season. I hope Lego do a nice fire service sized boat soon.
"escape from reality with a little inspiration from reality" nice line
The fire submarine could be used for oil spills You know, like, spray chemicals on it from beneath
Good to see the remixed fire mech again! I missed that thing.
Really nice to see al these my favourites were the train or the Investigation Van. It would be cool to see a police or hospital version of this video but that Fire Bicycle Lol 😂
Now for the fire spaceship! Just in case....
At 10:10 I like how you said the motor vehicles were just starting up
I appreciate this style of video. Detailing your own builds by type, design or theme. Awesome.
The sub reminds me of the minisub from the first season of Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea. Not to be confused with the flying sub from later seasons.
Alright! JANG revisits his MOCs! Thank you JANGBRICKS!
Great vid keep it up 👍
Love all your custom stuff Jang! Your build are always so intresting and detailed!
I like that fresh video. Your custom stuff rocks!
The first apparatus looks like the first half is an engine and the back half is a heavy rescue
I love these trucks! Man, some of these models are old though!
The truck 60023 look cute 🤣
Some kind of VTOL aircraft would make a cool addition.
This was a silly amount of fun.
Huge fan of the fire van!!
i know of a way to build a 4 seater that is only 6 wide. you place the passenger next to the driver one stud forward, and the passengers in the back are the same way. the drivers interior hand has to be pointed downward as to not interfere. so the interior space should be 4x5 studs. also this allows space for a b pillar to support the roof.
The submarine is very usefull, think about Thunderbird 4.. ;)
i like the front end of the ladder truck
Nice collection!
Build some airport fire engines. They have a very distinct look and I'm sure you have an airport.
I like the fite sub-marine, explanation is funny, because fire sub. Do exist, for salvaging wrecks under water. Like airplanes, and other deep water where coast gard is not
You have the best LEGO collection!
I think your style is retro modern. I like it
Congrats on the 1 million subs jangbricks

Glad to see some custom stuff again! Looking good, jang

i think that the fire submarien would be a real thing, but for search and rescue projects? that was my thought
Wow that is awesome
Nice job Jang!!!
Cool! More MOC / City updates please !!
Is it an Engine? Is it a truck? It's actually both. That type of truck is very common nowadays. The proper name is a Quint. It can be used as both an Engine and a Ladder.
That’s pretty nice
Great👍👍👍
I love the bicycle!!!
Jang Mocs are always the best
Jang is the Bob Ross of Lego.
You need to build a Lego Fire Rescue Truck. A rescue truck carries medical supplies, jaws of life, etc.
Fires in an underwater lab? Fire from a volcano underwater? Plasmatic thermoreactive chemicals? There are plenty of uses for a fire sub.
