It is just part of life. Never easy. Sadly it happens with outside ponds. You should dig out a area of the pond making it much deeper, what we had to do with ours

You might look into a windmill aerator, my family has used one successfully for 16 years, very low maintenance.

And the day you post this, the rain comes…. I’m so sorry to hear about your fish and how bad it’s been for all pond owners

My father in law’s pond did this a few years ago, he lost a lot of fish. We had an old pool pump, so they made a platform for it, & used to to keep it from happening again.

Is the little house on the pond for your ducks?

Nooooo! That's heartbreaking. I have a small pond that everything died in once. It was my dogs flea drops. Big years old goldfish. :(

Sorry for your loss. Speaking of, I'm leaving the channel. Havent been doing enough about your pets-and I get it, I've moved a ton so I know the work behind it, but it's just been really dull and disappointing lately without seeing the animals and your usual stuff. Hope things straighten out for you guys eventually.
