TAKING IT FOR A SPIN!
Finally got to put a FORGED TSR HALLIGAN to the test, and boy did she not disappoint! These all new features really make a difference. We especially love getting that initial pop by dropping your weight downward towards the spike. Then extended our leverage, gain a 34:1 MA and drive with the striking face of the tool. The TSR Fire Maul opens the gap nicely with the wedge shaped blade for that game winning position, adz behind jam. After that it is game over. Do a quick sweep and control the door. Easy Day!

Slick. I love it!
I find the halligan intriguing, but the demonstration of the “shocking” the door stuff just makes me laugh every single time. What an absolute waste of energy and time. After 38 years on a very busy urban rescue, I’ve never seen the value of shocking the door. It does nothing and in one instance I watched it cause a career ending rotator cuff blowout as the stored energy has nowhere else to go but back into the user. Faced with 10 doors down a multioccupancy that all must be forced, you’ll have no energy to finish when you are done. Just do good. Smooth, gap set force and move along. Interesting take on the halligan though.

We actually gotten away from it ourselves, unless we are just ramming a residential door to see if it will open. But for the most part we just start a gap low and work that gap up the door to the lock. Quick and easy.
