You're right about new spring being stiff. Before any serious use, It's a good idea to keep the mag fully loaded for a couple days.
It's nice to see Soringfield adding support for the Hellcat line. I'm expecting them to fold in some of the Echelon features ( trigger ) into the Hellcat (both amateur and Pro.)

@@HuntFishShootChannel I could see a small add on comp. I like tat the HCP has decent barrel length for a relatively small gun. I wouldn't want to lose velocity to porting. But a short add on comp (think Radian Ramjet type), would work well.

@HuntFishShootChannel they do have threaded Hellcat Pros, and I've seen comps like the one used for the smaller Hellcat on a few sites. So you can DIY it if you want the Pro compensated (I plan to do it to mine once I obtain a threaded barrel).

I ordered one. I want to put it grip to grip next to my X macro . If they are the same size . I will order another one and carry with the 17rd and have the other as a spare.
When I bought mine not to long ago it only came with 15 I had to order my 17 round because no stores where I’m at had any

Had a Hellcat Pro, which I liked, but had an opportunity to trade it for an X-Macro in a smoking deal, so I did. Regret. The X-Macro is just a little too long in the grip for what I like. The Hellcat Pro was always the perfect size for concealed carry. Sold the X-Macro and just ordered another Hellcat Pro with the 15 and 17 rounds mags. 15 round flush fit and the option for 17 rounds is a lot better than the X-Macro's 17 round only!

Don't forget to log into SA for the gear up event. Ive done it in the past and my Hellcat RDP and Pro both came with 5 extra mags so 7 each pistol. They ran out of range bags so they gave me more mags which I was more then happy to accept. Great company, whatever they did in the past is the past for me.
I just hope SA makes the triggers for the echelon somehow available for the hellcat line

That won’t be the case nor can it happen. It’s a good trigger for a micro compact, just needs some breaking in!
Was trying to decide between hellcat pro or the xdm elite with the 4.5 inch barrel. Wanting a pistol for both ccw and home defense. Watch your channel quite a bit. Keep up the good work

Thank you! Go with the Hellcat Pro or the Echelon! But Hellcat Pro is perfect for CCW or home defense if you add a light too it also!

I have both. The hellcat for edc and the elite for home. The xdm elite 9mm with a holosun 407 is amazing. I can accurately hit 300 yards with the elite. I won't trade in my elite for the Echelon.

Hi Mike. What do you think about the Hellcat Pro OSP with PMM comp versus the SS MR920 versus Walther PDP-F 4" for medium sized hands? I could be wrong but I think they have almost identical OAL and round capacity. If you could only afford one of them for EDC/CCW? It's difficult to find them in person to rent and try out. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I would pick the shadow systems MR920, then the PDP F series and then the Hellcat Pro. This based off shootability, aftermarket support, holster support and personal preference. I also personally carry the MR920
what are you using for ear protection in this video? what are the features of them?

Axil GS Extreme 2.0. They are Bluetooth, and noise cancellation and enhancement. They are the best I have ever used and highly recommend them! We do have a link in the bio which will save you money and helps out the channel! We have to buy these ourselves yet still promote them!

Not quite the magazine itself is numberered and has witness holes for 17 rounds

In essence it is, but the benefit is the spring. I've been using Pro mags with the extender off the 13 and having 17rd mags but after a year, I've had problems with it locking to the rear. So the reliability of the spring is something in looking forward to

Yeah, all pro mags do. Even with the Hellcat 15rd mag, that's just a Pro mag with a little sleeve on it. You could take the sleeve off the 15 and put it on this and boom, no gap

And everyone has already been making these with a 15rd pro mag and the extender off the Hellcat 13rd. The good thing about this is the bigger spring

Springfield make a pro in 30 super carry I want 20 round mag for it.
