I have one myself. A 2019 redline edition. Imported from Canada to Sweden. Not many in my country. But I love it. Parts is no problem, big storage in europe too. Best car I ve had.

Chevy Tahoe & Chevy Suburban & Chevy Traverse are my favorite vehicles😍

I could not get over the engine start/stop on the Traverse. This SUV would have been our 2nd choice. I ended up with 2018 Ford Explorer Platinum. My family could not be happier.

Seems you got a bad deal going with the Ford Explorer platimun. I saw a review on the explorer, and it was nowhere near as good-looking suv with mediocre features and small space. I don't get why some people hate the start/stop featured so much. It is not that complicated to turn it off on the 2nd gen traverse. It's a godsend feature for when you're stuck in traffic jam when you need to save fuel versus wasting gas stuck in a gridlock traffic.

He was gorgeous. I want to buy a traverse now 😊

This car would’ve been close to the perfect family suv if it had better seats, the sunroof shades were powered, built in shades for the back seat passengers, 10 way power seats and just a inch more of ground clearance and we are good to go! I’m really looking into getting this once my 2015 QX60 lease is done in August.

They did a great job designing this 2nd gen traverse. Everything was well thought-out and well put together. There's nothing funky about this Traverse. I absolutely live this bodystyle. It just look sleek, sexy and sporty overall. It is no slouched in terms of performance. Super friendly when it comes to maintenance and working it yourself. Aside from all the newer model after 2020 they just kind of went south from there on and just look funky. Not only that, they put in a peppy 4 cylinder which just made absolutely no sense for a vehicle of this size. I absolutely live my 2018 traverse awd LT. It's just a gorgeous looking proper midsize crossover suv period. 2:23

How bout all those USB ports?!? Chevy really made some big jumps with this all-new traverse. It's now more powerful, efficient, spacious, and premium compared to previously. How does this rank as a 3 row crossover?

We went with the Honda Pilot Elite (over Traverse Premier Redline). Even though the Traverse looks WAY better, the Pilot felt more quality in my opinion. Also, the Traverse lacked some expected features for this level of trim like Adaptive Cruise Control.

My Mother bought a 2018 Travers its not the Premier, but it still have a lot that the Premier have and we love it hers is Black shape like a Suburban

Honstly i was suprised he said it was bigger than a tahoe... like what....

Its is a nice SUV with a nice interior and a lot of space in the second and third row seat

we were in the market for SUV and it came down to this or the Explorer and we chose to explore way much fun

That 2nd gen traverse looks way better than any other suv, period. Plenty of storage and everything just flows nicely complimenting each other. Theres just no other suv that catches my eyes then this 2018 traverse. I hate sunroof so i got the lower trim awd without the sunroof. As for features and storage it is more than i can ever ask for. It has everything that i had been looking for. I love my traverse. The newer 2019 and up just didn't have the look that i want and those sunroof didn't really help much as I don't like them.

We have a 2003 Envy that we can’t wear our! I hope the Traverse will hold up as well

The new 2018 chevrolet traverse is the best looking midsize suv by far. Plenty of space and storage for a small family. There's no other can compete in this midsize segment. All the newer model after the 2018 just got weirder and just doesn't look as good. Featurewise are plenty. I just love all the interior layout as it just made sense and easy to navigate. The only small minor zonk is the navigation feature which is weird and not as user friendly. Other then that, it is the perfect midsize suv.

If you had to choose between the top of the line Traverse or the top of the line Toyota Highlander, which would it be and why?

Dang...I think it depends on how much space you need. The traverse is quite a bit bigger than the Highlander so more cargo space and better 3rd row. Super similar with features available. If you’re going to keep it long term the Highlander has historically great resale and reliability. Both felt about the same with acceleration, Highlander 8 speed maybe smoother than 9 speed traverse, but traverse maybe better handling. If it was my money, I’d go Highlander because we have an 04 Highlander and it’s been great. What do you think?

Prime Autotainment I've driven both on a short route around the dealership. The Highlander seemed more buttoned-up and road smoother and quieter. I am retired and am looking for something that runs smooth and quiet with a panoramic sunroof and can carry extra cargo or five in comfort. I have only one grandchild. I had a BMW M2 and sold it because I got tired of climbing in and out of it.

I had a similar experience in my short time with each of them. For the cargo/5 people you’ll be fine with both of them. I did a pretty detailed review on the 2018 Limited Highlander if you haven’t seen it: kzread.info/dash/bejne/X6Kk3MWmcbq0frg.html Also if you haven’t considered it, the Honda Pilot is pretty loaded and spacious as well. Don’t blame you for switching from the BMW, SUV will be much more pleasant to get in and out of regularly :). Good luck with your decision!

GM should make an SS version of this.. they havnt had a midsize v8 suv since the trailblazer ss... GM seems to have a hard time with mid size suv designing.. they always nail the tahoe/yukon but fuck up on the smaller suvs.... that being said this one isnt bad... the grille on the acadia is nicer in my opinion but this car here is still good looking.

On this model msrp was $48,300. I think it was listed closer to 42 ish with discounts and incentives. Second most expensive trim level

Nice vehicle; too bad standard safety features on the $31k Toyota Highlander will cost you nearly $53k on the Chevrolet Traverse!!! WTF GM!!! SAFETY SHOULD NOT BE OPTIONAL!!!

jeff townsend you pull it down into manual and even though it's manual it'll shift for you and it turns off auto stop

Yup chevy did better with this design.The previous generation of the traverse was freakin ugly especially the back it looked like a minivan.

How would the very back do accomodating a man who stands at about 6’0 6’1?

I have the traverse premier 2018 and the only thing I don't like is the quality of the camera image, it's horrible, no matter how clean the car is, the image is still poor and at night it's worse when I go in reverse to park I really hate look at the screen for the poor image quality it displays. I have a silverado 2021 and it is totally different, the image is sharp. It seems they used the worst quality for the camera.

It's funny. Only GM thinks all that chrome-covered plastic in the cabin looks "fancy." Nope. Brushed aluminum-look trim looks more high end... and the sun doesn't reflect and blind you.

Traverse could take the length of Mercedes GL 450 .More spacious for 8 eight people.

That exact vehicle MSRP was $48,300. It had some discounts on it after that but that was list price.

I have the start stop is bad the battery starter alternator are going to wear out faster no switch to turn off they need to put a switch in car rate 10 start stop system rate 0 to all if there is no switch in many car don't buy it it does not work all the time the car has a mine of its own go inter net and put start stop in and see for self good luck

Not sure what your looking at but this looks nothing like a Durango. It has its own look going for it right now.

The seats on the Traverse are so uncomfortable in my opinion. I’m not an extremely tall guy(1.78cm) but half my legs stand out on those seats. It’s very short. Would be perfect for a woman in general and shorter men. Still a great car though for families.

Prime Autotainment thank you for the quick reply. Clearly Chevy was trying to make it more spacious on the eyes and have more storage at the same time. I would have preferred more luxurious seats and a bit less storage, because then it will still be able to hold loads of stuff but be much more enjoyable and comfortable to travel long journeys in.

We were planning to purchase this vehicle because it is so spacious but the seats were very uncomfortable and decided against purchasing it. It would have been the perfect vehicle for us if the seats were a little more comfortable.

First of all doesn’t give the Tahoe a run for its money, because this isn’t a truck. Like the Tahoe. I bought my Tahoe for its obvious ability to tow anything including all my watercraft or utility trailer, or all four wheelers on sand dune day.
