Definitely one of the best test drive reviews. Good job! I test drove it a few days ago. Very nice indeed! The only thing I don't like is how the Nav screen is just plopped on the dashboard. It almost looks like an after thought.... like "oh crap, we forgot about the infotainment screen, lets put it here". Otherwise, it's a very compelling upgrade.

Thanks Holger! I hope you had a chance to drink some vino after the off-road dusty driving! I'm like Thomas - I still really like the upright stance of the GLK although after seeing your footage the GLC is looking very nice too. I see some elements of the Macan from side view shots. The air suspension sounds intriguing. Ciao!

Nice review and first time I saw Holger now. I rather like the reviews with Thomas but I wont be harsh and I accept Holger also, I think everyone is trying to his best so lets be nice! :) The mercedes GLC is just so different from the GLK. Its a very nice car and you see where your money goes when you buy this kind of car! I hope that I will see them soon here on the Belgium roads! Good job Mercedes and Autogefühl!

Concept of these new reviews are bad compared to the ones Thomas did. I hope you'll get back to those.

Remember the scene in Seinfeld where the Germans spot Kramer and he shows them "the bro"? This guy reminds me of them.

i must say that this GLC is better for buying then BMW x3 or Audi Q5 because it is cheaper,stronger,more serial equipment, lower fuel consumption... and of course it is Mercedes brand!! i was surprised when i saw that Mercedes GLC with 2,2cdi 204 hp costs less money and with much better equipment then audi Q5 with 2.0 TDI 190hp

+Mr11ESSE111 depends on the final offer, The Q5 is for example right now being sold for incredible leasing rates in Germany (like 250 euros / month without commission), very often the base prices dont tell the real truth what is offered on the market. But generally, you are right ofc

***** they sell Q5 in germany for low money because new one comes for 10-12 months and this is older !! I am not from Germany but i see in few countries that prices of GLC with very good standard equipment (which includes almost all you need)are lower than BMW X3 and Q5 with base equipment which is good but not even close to GLC

@2:38 "..it feels like being in a tank". Not really for the GLC. The original, squarish-looking GLK350 did feel (and looked) like a mini-Panzer, with an awesome view all around. It set it apart from a me-too rounded small SUV's that is the norm nowadays.

Pick ours up next week , got the 250 amg premium edition with the 20inch wheels.

This GLC should do well in snowy roads! LOL! Not sure about ice but that depends a lot on the tires you have! Only the highway patrol has the snubby studded tires! When the last time you heard of a highway cruise loosing control in the winter?

I have liked Holger in other reviews but this did not seem like a normal autogefuhl review. This seemed like it was an advertisement sponsored by MB. Lots of pros, no cons. Was there NOTHING wrong with this car or is it as perfect as the video seems to present it as? Even though I prefer the GLK's style this looks like a very nice car.

I prefer the new design overall, and it is probably a superior vehicle in most ways. The GLK style would have worked better on a larger vehicle.

Und was ist mit dem ML Klasse passiert? Ist das nicht mit der Q5 vergleichbar?

Nice review. I like the GLC but in the end I think hot estates like the audi s4 are much cooler.

Thanks for the great review. However, I would like to know why an SUV will not come with FOG LIGHTS? Does MB explained that already?

+Autogefühl thanks for the reply! But, are you sure that foglights are available for this new model? I don't see where they should be located, both the standard and AMG bumper do not seem to have a place/location to install those foglights and I haven't seen one with those installed 🙁

alexvaldana the new trend of design philosophy and language does not include fog lamps...fog lamps are a waste of light of you think of it...a powerful headlamp with the signature eyebrow effect (in this case) is all you need...an addition of fog lamps will make it look overdone and clumsy...no modern car should have fog lamps cos technology has advanced too much to warrant their inclusion...

Great intro review. Much better looking than the GLK, especially the interior, but the profile view is very similar to the Honda/Acura RDX/MDX. Why are you guys mispronouncing the word Mercedes? Not pronounced that way in German or English.

Esben Wu iridium silver is the name...I have the same thing and it’s sweet

I like the the styling of GLK better. The style has held up well over time. The angular look is more interesting and its look hints at the G-Class SUV. The new GLC is more generic looking with its rounder corners and blends in too much with all other SUV's. This makes it seems a bit boring.

Yippie i was a bit hars on the glk but i like curvy cars like the new glc :)

new toyota cars designs , should be old mercedes cars designs .... power and respect , luxury redifined .... high performance cars ...

Apart from the interior update, I didn't like the exterior design. Glk is way more beautiful. this one looks too ordinary

I like better the style of the GLK. This GLC looks like Audi Q5 and many others SUVs.
