Excellent review stavros969! The new LS is indeed one of the most stunning large luxury sedans to come! So people lambasted the controversial spindle grill design, but as expected, once you see the car in person it looks beautiful!

That thing looks incredible.

The s class actually uses metal switchgear.... there is a reason it's often compared to Bentley and the LS is known as a tatted up Camry or Avelon.

Lexus cars are more reliable and costs less to maintain than any other german competitive.

That sound system is crazy! I believe Lexus build quality is 10x better and more durable then German car. German car have too much problem and spoil very easily. They are just abit more fanciful. That all. Lexus the way to go!

KEN lIM German cars have better quality but Japanese cars are way more reliable

1:39 He point out the almost flush window trim, something that jumped out to me the first time I saw it irl. Personally I don't like the overall design, too busy, but the individual detail of this car is simply astounding.

Thank you for the review. Definitely love the flush-with-pillars side windows (good that lexus revive it from the LS400 to this new LS). Despite having longer wheelbase than previous LS, it seems the rear aren't as spacious in terms of legroom. Not sure if this LS will have a long wheelbase version (will definitely be very long then).

No Pano roof? The back end takes me back to the ES of maybe 08-09 I think. Some nice designs but I'm not totally sold. I really believe the best LS was 06 with 10 and 11 not too bad. After that things get a little confusing here and there. I'm not an MB fan but the styling of those cars speak Luxury. This LS i'm' not sure if it's speaking luxury or sport.

Explain how a panel shift works on a CVT..?

Like 20 contact points on the steering buttons, that's a record I guess.

Does the infotainment system feature android auto and Apple CarPlay ? The old LS had aircraft style tray table and also a cooler box with the executive seat package . I don’t see them in this one . Does it have them ?

Toyota is not supporting Andriod Auto and Apple CarPlay, so it would be weird if Lexus would do that. The new Camry don't support it. Toyota has their own program to use a phone on their infotainment, but it is not Android or Apple.

Love the LS. But, hopefully lexus gets the interior right in the refresh model. This looks alot like the last gen MB S class which is now close to 10 years old. This is fine if it came out 7 years ago. For an $80k+ car this is not acceptable. Lexus interior designers should perhaps have a look at the current MB S class interior and get a clue as to where the industry is heading and try to stay ahead not copy them 10 years later.

Very elegant...however Lexus are so ahead of its time...they should be building rockets. 👍🏾

Great design, but that boot is smaller than some smaller cars, why can't Lexus design a proper boot space especially in a large car.
