Too bad I can’t get this in the US. I have an 18 Focus SE. I love the car, but I want a stick and wish you guys would bring back the focus to the US. I understand Chinese tariffs but why not send the ones over from Saarlouis, Germany? I want to be able to buy a Ford hatchback in the future and I don’t like that my only options are SUVs, trucks, and mustangs. I want that sporty feel but not a gas guzzling vehicle like the mustang. The Focus fits perfectly for that! If nothing else I guess I’ll just go to my Volkswagen dealership and by a Golf GTI

Great car, really wanted to test drive one. Dealer (Koenings Ford Erkelenz) has one in the showroom but does not let me drive it, look at only I guess. Also if you would order one now without having driven it first there is a 5 month delivery time. It's a shame.

When will sale this?

Waiting for the price of the diesel version, i make more than 20k km at year, petrol engine it's not an option for a lot of people, depending on the price i will go for the st diesel or the ecoblue 150 cv diesel st line.

Looks like a Mazda speed 3 in a great way

Bit surprised by the anticipated CO2 emmissions - 175g/km is higher than the outgoing model. Hopefully this is down to Ford conservatism, or they will be able to explain why. I like the new subtle styling

Can't blame the manufacturer when the overall consumer response is leaning towards massive useless SUVS. Even Lamborghini and Maserati is pushing towards this useless trend.

Bad for you :-( but probably not for Ford, tbh. Blame your fellow Americans preferring Flat-beds, SUVs and generally bigger road vehicles. Henry wouldn't have made a car that he couldn't sell enough of in the US, so why should his successors?

Yea, American taste in cars is terrible... Automatics, four doors, excessive size. Looks like Europe is becoming the same way though. Less two doors with every generation, I'm seeing ads with autos in pictures, never used to see that.

You are only making either SUVs or hatchbacks or pick up trucks. In india we're interested in compact sedans and mid size sedans.

Why do I feel that it looks like a Mazda 3 third generation?

I'm not sold on the styling. That front overhang is huge. The proportions look wrong to me. I think the outgoing car looks better.

The Mk3 has a large overhang as well... That's what happens you you have a transversely mounted drivetrain in front of the axle line.

Looks like a tourer

Not as pretty as the outgoing car, I think it looks too much like a 1 series / mazda 3 / subaru impreza ie that rounded rear end. On my list though as it looks competitive on paper and I'm a big fan of Ford's support for JDRF charity funding into finding a cure for type 1 diabetes.
