Fun fact: Despite its appearance, deinocheirus is an ornithomimosaur, not a therizinosaurid. That means it's closer genetically to gallimimus than to therizinosaurus.

It was also a Deinocheirid,so the most closely related to Beishanlong and Paraxenisaurus than to Gallimimus.

I like how all the dinosaurs in this update are all super unique, and they didn't just slap feathers onto already existing dinosaurs in game. Jeholopterus eats insects instead of fish like the other pterosaurs, sinosauropteryx is cute but very mean especially to there own species (alot like a meerkat) yutyrannus is alot like a wolf how it lives in large packs and how it looks, and dienochirus is welp, dienochirus

Fun fact it now says a guest killed a dinosaur, originally it said by a unknown dinosaur.

Beaver I think the problem is that the Deinocheirus's habitat was too small to do its kill animation. It's very unique and cinematic so maybe try putting it in a larger habitat to get a better result. (Also Deinocheirus can fight things like Acro and Rex)

@@thecyanadon it does for the deino though cuz his/her kill animation will be to hard to do in a square like that cuz the allo or carno (or any medium dino) runs really far and then the deino chases after it, tackles it and kicks it in the face

Glad to see that the Deinocherius is absolutely massive!

I'm so happy Sinosauropteryx got it's ring tail 🎉

I love how GamingBeaver and Evolution Square have such different takes on Jeholopterus🤣

I LOVE the fact that whenever its it combat, the deinocherius will raise its head to make itself look larger, such a great small detail

Yeah the yutyrannus is I think is one of the only large body theropods to have feathers from direct fossil evidence. The other being the close trex relative Nanuqsaurus which is similar if not bigger in size than yutyrannus

*starts laughing my pants off after not only seeing the goat drowned itself to death but also both seeing Beaver's reaction to the goat downing itself to death and hearing his statement about it* 🤣🤣🤣

I absolutely LOVE the animations for this DLC honestly some of the best DLC creatures in my opinion

love how james still the raptor squad, i wonder what his plans are with them, just be careful what you create

What’s funny about the Sinosauropteryx and Yutyrannus connection is that there’s a theory that many compsugnathids are actually juvenile dinosaurs

I feel like Frontier is putting more effort into the feathered dinosaurs skins more than they do with the non-feathered dinosaurs skins. Still love you Beaver! You've always made me laugh and smile

I just found out that a recent study said that Therizinosaurus claws were only for decoration to attract mates and their claws were so fragile that they would snap if they tried to fight.

Icl when Beaver said “seeing their kill animations with Goats and all” and the goat cam came up as soon as he said that is just Perfection.

Honestly, i feel like they should add a option to be a dinosaur or the option to be a human, worker or visitor. That would make the game feel more pleasing for me. Does anyone else agree?

Man, this was the update and DLC. My favorite of the new Dinos is Yutyrannus. But my favorite part of the update has to be the Rex Kingdom. But I look forward to play this when the complete edition releases on Nintendo Switch like the first one! (I can’t play JWE2, I only have Switch)

Actually, the deinocheirus actually had one of the longest arms and not having short and stumpy ones

I will say that saying “don’t expect accuracy” from Jurassic World is disappointing since Jurassic Park set the precedent of accuracy since the dinosaurs were very accurate for their time, even the Dilo had logical explanations. So with this dlc having accurate animals with a Stan Winston aesthetic, it really is well done

Deinocheirus needs more feathering on the arms to be completely accurate but other than that it is accurate.

Realy gourgeous dinossaurs. I hope in the next dlc we could have Oxalaia, Picnonemossaurus: the biggest abelissaurus( bigger than carnotaurus), Austroposeidon, Megaraptor, or maybe even Ubirajara jubatus. Anyway, continue with your amanzing videos, Beaver. Kisses from Brazil.

Frontier should add a sneaking hunting animation where the hunting dinosaur kind of crouches and stalks the prey and hides in nearby brush just watching the prey item.

Beaver makes the updates on any game fun

The yutyrannus is my all time favorite dino. Since i first heard of it, ive been obsessed. The white with black markings is how ive always imagined it looking.

Beaver there are some new interaction buildings like the tunnels and the viewing t-Rex log.

Not a fan of the fluffy update, gotta admit. I’ll stick with my scaly bois. Even then, beaver makes it fun to watch, so thanks for that!

I think the reason the Deinocheirus doesn't look like it has a proper beak is because Frontier for what ever reason doesn't do keratin beak textures? Like if you look at the pterosaurs like Geostembergia it's beak is covered in scales instead of keratin. Why they do this with some of the animals and not others. I got no clue
