Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Heritage model.
What’s New for 2023? Two new Ford Bronco Sport Heritage models with vintage styling and Oxford White accents. There’s a unique white heritage grille featuring red Bronco lettering, a white roof, 17” Oxford White wheels, all-terrain off-road tires and some cool exterior colours like Robin’s Egg Blue and Hot Pepper Red.
Both Ford Bronco Sport Heritage and Heritage Limited models include interior touches such as Navy Pier cloth seats with plaid inserts and blue accent stitching. You’ll get about 670 km/416 miles with a full tank of gas. The second option which is only available on the top two trims is a 2L Ecoboost engine with 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. You’ll get about 592 km/368 miles with a full tank of fuel.
Standard features for the Ford Bronco Sport Heritage include, an 8” touchscreen with Sync 3, wired Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 4.2” instrument cluster, 6-speaker audio system, cloth upholstery

I have one and LOVE it! I see people are complaining about the color or white wheels but that is EXACTLY what caught my attention. I’ve had 5 Minicoopers since 2004 and this is the 1st vehicle that made me change my mind and trade in my Mini. Different strokes for different folks. I also have the convenience package which will be GREAT as winter sets in.

I appreciate a review that dares to mention reliability. Very few reviewers touch this topic, believing, I'd imagine, that they might jeopardize receiving future cars to test from a manufacturer. Regarding this Bronco Sport: I love the overall design, but as far as purchasing/owning, at these prices, I wish it were built by Toyota (as a long-term 4Runner owner).

We have a 2009 Escape hybrid. It has been a great, comfortable, reliable vehicle. With 178K miles it is finally time to replace it. We looked at the Forester, Escape, Bronco and Rav4. The other vehicles were nice and we liked the look of the Bronco, however we bought the Rav4 as they have a hybrid model and the Limited model has all the things we wanted (and many we didn't need). If there were any available we may have bought a lower trim Prime. So far we are happy 41MPG+ is nice. Having extra features is spoiling us...

I just got the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend, with the 1.5L, I am sales rep, so far so good, like better than the Escape, just came back from Kelowna, no issue on the hills. Gas mileage is good, better than my 2019 Escape I had. Seats are good, sit higher up. Two issues could be couple inches longer as need to put front seat forward to put back seat down & when my sons get out of back seat & closes the door, seat belt sign comes on.

Great review as always. Love the blue outfits! My neighbor bought a new Bronco about 6 months ago and he said that he doesn't recommend it. The front and rear black bumper covers lost their blackness and are fading away (which means the color infused is of low quality), the rectangular shaped reflectors on the sides were cracked and faded (which means the plastic lens is very thin and without UV protection), the exterior paint already lost its shine, the windshield suddenly cracked by itself (and nothing hit it), water now leaks inside the passenger area. He also believes that it now has an engine problem because he hears a strange sound. He also said Fords customer service is awful and everything is on backorder. I did a 360 walk around and it screams cheap. For the asking price, it should be made with better materials.

Nice review guys, but Fords reliability issues and ovepriced vehicles would steer me away from this Bronco. In my opinion Mazda wins hands down with their warranty coverage in Canada. They offer 3yrs unlimited km warranty and then back up their powertrain with a 5 yr unlimited km warranty. To me that shows faith in their product that no other manufacturer in Canada can come close to.

I thought this looked nice on the outside, but it is pretty budget looking inside. I went to the Ford website to build one and saw the Heritage Limited and figured that's where I would be since I'd prefer the 2.0L engine and more features. It was nice that this trim had no extra features I had to add to increase the price. But then I got to the price at the bottom. It was $58,844 CAD (Ontario Canada) plus tax. That means almost $66,500 for this. Come on. WTF is that about? I thought my Venza Limited was a bit spendy at $48k (plus tax and fees), but I was willing to pay the slight premium for a Toyota Hybrid, which is the most reliable vehicle on the planet. The top trim Ford would be over $10k more expensive than my Venza was and that makes zero sense. Ford needs to cut $20k off the price of these vehicles for them to make any sense. Even if that top trim would be $46,500 all in, that's still a tough pill to swallow, but at $66,500 you have to crazy to buy it.

@@jillthompson6110 Yea, I'm old, so I remember the days where they couldn't give pickup trucks away since they were only used as work trucks. Basic 2 door Rangers with 4 cylinder engines, automatic transmissions and 2WD were $13k and were often used as fleet vehicles for local small companies who needed to zip around town and pick up or drop off items. Even the full size units were only high teens for basic ones and often topped out in the mid 20s. Now, keep in mind, trucks back then were basic. There was no such thing as a "luxury" trim. Luxury back then meant vinyl seats (easy to clean), power windows and locks and A/C. But still. The Korean brands have shown us those features don't really cost that much money anyway.

As boomer, I must admit that Ford did a great job in the visual appeal of the Bronco line! It is amazing how many ways they are milking this design while bilking the public in to getting things that appeal to the eye and heart while doing very little that really meets daily driving needs. What Zack said at 4:08. Marketing at its finest or worst depending on one's perspective...

All of the compact SUVs are so expensive. My mom just bought a 2023 Rogue with the 3-cylinder turbo. Her model is below the Premium model. Maybe is called Limited? I'm not sure but it is a fantastic vehicle. They have really made the Rogue a contender. I'm looking for a compact SUV and I don't want to settle. It just happens to be priced like a compact. The feature content and size equate to subcompact. Rear legroom is also subcompact SUV sized.

As for this Bronco Sport, Ford absolutely nailed the styling. This is one sharp vehicle (aside from those 1985 AMC Concorde ‘heritage’ seats). These Bronco Sports look refreshingly unique on the highway. They also seem to be perfectly sized. Well done Ford! Thanks for the video.

I still see original 1970s Broncos down under. Will Ford Australia bring in the New one?. Pricey, well Australia would be double what you pay in Canada. We just got or getting the Mach E. It's more than a V8 Mustang and they push $80k plus. So no for me. Love your reviews and scenery.

I got my BBL a few weeks ago and I’m understandably concerned about protecting my investment. Does this car have comfortable seats and suspension? I need my booty to be cradled well! These cheeks were expensive!

Very cool car, but mpg for city-life is pretty bad. Not sure why Ford hasn't offered this as a hybrid. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

When you look at the price of the Bronco Sport and only a 3 cyl engine, you could still buy a nicely equipped Wrangler or an even nicer Cherokee for the same price.

My Wife really loves the look of the Bronco Sport. I do to I guess. But I have serious concerns about it's reliability and longevity. I also don't understand why these are priced so high in Canada. We looked at an Outer Banks and to get a package that we would expect from a new car in 2023 it was almost $50K Canadian. That's crazy too me. I look at that an don't see where that money is at because the interior is so plain and cheaply made and the engine and performance is lacking. I feel these are $10K overpriced and Ford are trying to cash in on the Bronco name. No way these are worth the MSRP. I would rather buy a Mazda or Toyota for the same price and know that I'm getting far better reliability and longevity. Not too mention resale value holding power. And the interiors on those are like spaceships. They truly feel like they deserve the price tag. The Bronco Sport does not.

Despite being the "Heritage" edition, one thing it has in common with the modern Broncos is the unreliable engine and transmission.

    Considering it's a 1.5 3 cylinder, and 2.0 4 cylinder that's really meh gas mileage. I'd get a Maverick over this. Or a RAV4.

Nothing is standard in the Brinco sport. You'll have to add almost $10000 worth of packages to get everything you'll expect in a modern car. Makes this totally not worth the price.

I dunno, buy the escape because thats what the bronco sport really is right? If you want a Bronco, the real deal, buy the larger one. All this is a mall crawling baby bronco (which doesnt really look all the good conpared to the regular one) imo.

In 2005, I had just gotten my Mustang and I was a Ford fan. I was during Alan Mulally’s time. But I loathe Ford. They’ve abandoned the affordable market and treat their customers like trash. The Bronco Sport looks nice on the outside but for the price they charge the interior is straight trash. Even if they were to fix the interior it’s at least $5k to high.
