I made this and i love how it turned out!! I cut the recipe in half and i got about 23oz of product! I ended up putting them in a lot of 2oz jars! Mine ended up a little more fluffy than the one in this video but i whipped it for a very long time because i wanted it to be super fluffy! This body butter just melts onto your skin and i love it! I used peppermint essential oil and it smells like a chocolate peppermint candy! For cutting the recipe in half i ended up using about 20-24 drops of EO because i really wanted the peppermint smell to be apparent. Thanks for the tutorial 🙂

I made this last night and the smell is amazing and honestly I wanted to eat it! Lol 😂 I love chocolate and love the fact it smells like chocolate! The only thing I’m not a fan about is that it is greasy and I’m thinking to cut the grease down is adding in cornstarch and switching out the olive oil for jojoba oil because I heard its like a wax and it does wonders for your skin! And for a longer shelf stable I’ll add vitamin e too! I really enjoy your videos and love the fact I can make my own products! I love how you explain step-by-step and not so complicated God Bless you! ❤️

Hi Laura , Your channel is very useful and I make my own DIY products and see a good diference on the skin. I loved the body butter that I make but I prefer to use it only in the night time . If I use it in the morning , it makes my skin look very oily. To cut down on that , would it help if use glycerin or beeswax ? I would like to get a consistency that the Aveeno cream has which is not very greasy . What should I do ? Keep up the amazing work !

Hi, I like your recipe and will try it for sure. I have been trying other body recipes with coconut oil, the problem I have found is that the coconut oil and shey butter melt at room temperature and even worse when it is warm and will eventually become very watery. Does this also happen with your recipe?

Can I still have the same consistency without having to add essential oil? I recently bought shea butter in bulk, would like to sell. I am thinking of making unscented and scented shea..for skin and hair. Since the shea is in a big block, I need to whip for packaging containers. I am woreied the oil added might lead to acne breakouts..also how do I get just the tight consistency without having it too creamy that it does not look like butter. What oils would you recommend to use for skin, hair? Many Thanks

I put mine in amber glass jars because i was afraid that the EO’s would lose their potency overtime without UV protection in the clear jars. I used peppermint essential oil in mine and it turned out wonderful!!

Hi, I am new to your channel and I love your recipes 😍. I just have a question about how to store that body butter! In a cabinet, in the fridge? Will it melt if I leave in cabinet? I am asking, coz I leave in Algeria and the weather is most of the time nice and hot Thank you in advance 🌹

Our Oily House Hi!!! Does it matter how long I whip it? I mean, if I whip it for 15 minutes, will that make it softer and/or creamer......and stay that way longer? Thanks.
